Although I put the odds again of striking as incredibly low if that’s what it takes to protect my group from the Company potentially labeling my owned work as only loading and unloading Aircraft, oh you can bet your ass I’m ready to walk that picket line.

You would too if you weren’t just waiting to be bought out/off.

How about putting the odds at non existent

Tim you’re off on this. Don’t know where you read that, but it’s wrong. As far as worst scope? How do you measure that? This company has always outsourced the majority of heavy work, it works for them and it works for us. I’m fine with having the ‘worst’ scope, and never having a lay-off. How’s that working over there with the ‘better’ scope?

When you talk to an AA guy the common theme is. I wish I applied at SWA, or I wish I went to SWA 10 years ago. Best contracts, a company that treats mechs as great and equal to other work groups.

It’s never been said, I’m glad I stayed at AA we have the worst contracts then any other airline, BUT we have more mechanics per aircraft then SWA.

Personally I think it’s better to have the best contract and never to have a lay-off. You live less in fear and won’t have your lives disrupted.

Seriously why are you obsessed with 700UW? When he was ignoring you, you couldn’t stop trying to get him to pay attention to you and now every time he comes back on you have to make an announcement about it as if you think we don’t realize it’s him?

Look you know the Mods will continue to toss him off daily so I’m just not sure why you need to be concerned when he’s here?

Anyway I’m going to mark my retirement date on a calendar in a few more years and when that day comes no carrot on a stick is going to keep me from getting the F out of this crap place.

Then I might take a nice little “peaceful” job just as something to do stacking items on a shelf in some store for minimum wage or whatever they want to pay me?

No harm in trying. But in all the yrs youve tried its been failure. There good reason why our association has said no deal. N thats bec those greedy selfish self centered mgmt wants us to have cuts cuts cuts. You claimed to of seen so called proposal. Yet why not show us details of it...not the dog chit mgmt put on jetnet. I dont know bout u or anyon else but being a single parent raising my special needs kid im done with giving this company. We have sacrificed everything yet those f..kheads still want us to take cuts. They need cuts then cut out mgmt .Thats where the pork is

robbed when it comes to you keeping your Medical as it is since obviously it would hurt you very much if it were to go up to what we pay on the LUS side, I support you 100%.

BTW you’ll be glad to know that our TWU Leaders spoke here in MIA about your Medical (Particularly Gary) and also support you keeping it 100%......

Actually they even do support if necessary you keeping your Medical for awhile longer and us keeping ours.

i think you should be asking the union the same question. I dont because you wont believe me anyways.
I never failed in organizing. Won every campaign. The agw was doing very well but delaney convinced me to make necessary change from within. So I did. No regrets. But i learned that the constitution is in cement and that this organization is controlled from 7 people at the grand lodge.
So it was fair for me to exhaust inside the shell first prior to attempting to crack the shell with the masses.
Time will tell, but its going to be exciting.

i could be wrong. I know that amfa is focused on representing members, instead of tossing current members for future dues like the iam.
Whatever the case, it was your decisions and your votes, unlike the iam which has refused to let us vote.

weez is moving up. He is all in. He used me to get a gig from the iam. Smart guy...take a pic with nelson almost always gets a gig from the iam.
But now he takes pics with the grand poopa. In a short time, he replaced 700 as the social media job title.

Hey W, you remember when you criticized some of us, especially me for making it hard for "Newbies" to come join the forums because we always considered the Newbie to be 700? Well, it looks as though we were right AND he is the one making it hard for Newbies because the mods have to check his credentials constantly and also "honest" Newbies. So, where is your criticism of 700 for being a pain in the ass for the mods and taking away the time to do their jobs the way it was suppose to be done. I guess you condone this ridiculous childish behavior.
