negotiations almost never happen in a tiny room, even if Peterson has another sheet of pizza in there. Farts may not be too pleasant though.

The Masses will effect change. Not by doing slowdowns as the video and written update suggest, but by building a resistence to this anti worker organization.
The one thing that nobody wants is the iam pension but the video makes it #1 priority. The self serving Association is a management shill.

The scientific objective poll is 250-21 in favor of seeing the offer. Baskett and peterson have shut down democracy. AMP should start picking up steam after we are shelved for years, The American Labor Movement will most likely initiate a raid for fleet and could be successful if the ice last for years. Especially, if you and other loyalist screw us over by getting us stuck in a awful economy. Then it will be pay cuts.
 
Al our Reps here today said the Company has stated that Fleet’s CORE Work is the “Loading and Unloading of Mainline Aircraft” only.
So that means the company could create another class of worker to move aircraft ala JetBlue and DL? Pay them less than fleet too.

You say good question but then as usual don’t answer. So tell me, since you say your a non member, who gave you the right to represent and speak for the members? You keep talking about these members. I mean, I know you have your 4 or 5 puppets on here, ( probably not 4 different people) but anyway. Who says you can represent and speak for them?

In all seriousness, why bother with him? He still claims Fleet is done and has been done for 2 years. He still claims this even after updates have stated they are still discussing outsourcing as well as other items still open. Pls let it go CB. I think most on here would support your efforts to answer the legit questions by the members instead of indulging the idiots and agenda folks. JMO.

An arbitrator won't exclude DL from the comparison.

Some of you guys here seem to be the only ones talking about Arbitration. Besides an Arbitrator doesn’t cherry pick and write out a Contract for the parties. They just rule for one side or the other.

And let me remind you guys again of this piece here.

Absolutely. My work has always been in just as much jeopardy as your work. Although some in your group have such an elitist mentality that they can’t and don’t care to recognize that fact.

BTW Congratulations on the new award you guys made up for yourselves that I read about on Jetnet. I’ve always thought personally that you guys really do need to pat yourselves on the back just a little more.

Correct. And let's also not forget that at least for the mechanic groups at each airline was boosted by Delta being the first one offer (not nego) but just throw out the numerous raises starting many years back that helped the industry of mechanics all get higher offers from their co. while in nego's. Just like NWA started back in the 2000's after their new contract with AMFA kick started the entire industry. This time around Delta kicked it off and was smart to do so as they knew all the other unionized groups would follow up by leapfrogging after that.

I am perfectly aware that both parties must agree to arbitration. My posts were if were to submit to an arbitrator.
So, if the union really believes this is an awful contract, then agree to arbitration and we will win the day according to the association.
Otherwise, do whatever it takes to get a full proposal from the company so the members can vote it down.
I don;t know what the ASSociation is afraid of if they trust their members or an arbitrator.
 
How much would you care to wager they still get paid when if the membership were to strike?
Except WeAAz of course.

Although I put the odds again of striking as incredibly low if that’s what it takes to protect my group from the Company potentially labeling my owned work as only loading and unloading Aircraft, oh you can bet your ass I’m ready to walk that picket line.

You would too if you weren’t just waiting to be bought out/off.

Ken has done alot for our profession.
However, I hope it does not become a popularity contest like the Golden Wrench was.
