Pilots are under review for violating a ton of FARs.

Name them.

And why is an FA nonreving with a USAPA lanyard? It's like walking around Boston with a Yankee cap. You are just looking for trouble.

You're right it doesn't.

Speaking of "selfishness"...would you like to hear a story about what some of your co-workers did recently? A US FA was traveling with her family from LAS-ONT. FA has over 30 years and was number 1 on the non-rev list. There was only one problem the FA was wearing a yellow USAPA lanyard. Gate agent gave FA dirty look. FA knew what was going on but ignored it.

There were 7 other non-revs waiting in the gate area. The plane's captain came up the jetway and the FA saw him talking with the gate agent with agent pointing at her. Captain and gate agent come over to FA and tell her that she won't be allowed on the plane wearing that yellow USAPA lanyard. FA is stunned, but she tells them she won't be taking it off because she doesn't have to. Captain and gate agent go off to chat. Boarding commences and FA is watching what's going on.

FA calls a friend with Hub Access -- sure enough there are seats left and she's number 1 non-rev. As boarding progresses FA notices the 7 other non-revs are gone. FA goes to the window and watches the gate agent escort the 7 non-revs on the ramp and up the jetway stairs onto the aircraft. FA tells other agent she knows what's going on, agent says there are no seats, sorry. FA calls someone at the company who then in turn calls the ONT station manager.

When plane lands in ONT station manager greets the flight and tells everyone to stay onboard the have to get an accurate passenger count. Sure enough, flight came in with 7 more passengers than what was listed.

LAS gate agent was suspended
Pilots are under review for violating a ton of FARs.

ALPA then has the balls to call FA at home and harass her for her side of the story. FA told them they have her written letter of the account and that is sufficient. FA says ALPA can consider her a "hostile witness" against the pilots.

How utterly stupid! People are going to lose their job over this.

This isn't the wild west anymore people. Stuff like this should make all of you mad. Whatever happens tomorrow there is never an excuse for this type of bullcrap ever happening.

Later,

Hey, did that scab supporter ever make it to ont?

I think the pilots (east) have screwed themselves over! US is going to merge with someone and with everything in change made (assuming usapa wins), pilots from US will be stapled or will most certainly not benefit from having a union that is still organizing and figuring things out.

One would think that in the mess the industry is in and will get worst, that having a flying job alone would be worth a lot, selfishness never pays off.

Well if you're right, the West is going to be just as "screwed" over. The others guys won't care where you are in relation to me....just where you are in relation to THEM. However, don't forget we'll have better luck with HR 2764 on our side.

Good grief, how embarassing and ridiculously immature. I worked "A" on the LAS-JFK redeye flight Saturday night. With open F seats, we were able to accomodate all of the NRSA passengers in First Class. One included a pilot wearing a yellow lanyard. Now, I may not agree with the politics, or see eye to eye with him on his views...but that should not, absolutely not, stand in the way of my duties to provide the same level of service to him that I would any other passenger.

First and foremost, he is a fellow co-worker and should be extended the same courtesies as a co-worker who might also be a close, personal friend of mine.

Don't allow differences in opinion to play havoc on one's getting home to their family or being available to work. There is a time and place for everything and that time in place should not be in the gate area or on the aircraft. Period.

The best part is if we merge with an alpa carrier, according to usapa seniority is negotiable and the majority rules, so if the west and the new carrier pilots gang up on the usapians, we can vote to staple them.

We have one answer: HR 2764

That "makes sense" then = She was dressed provocatively and was "asking for it"...A good thing that that some of AWA's/nature's noblemen, nay "professhunuhls" were there to accomodate her I suppose?

Leonidas naturally chimes in: "Hey, did that scab supporter ever make it to ont?"

Dude!..Did you see how bad we messed with that east FA and her family!?..We're some kinda' waay-serious, Macho-Badazzes!!! ...High Fives all around!!!

I truly hope that you "professhunuhls" are fully proud of yourselves....Words fail me.

RIGHT ON, DAWG! PEACE OUT!

Same reason some tickets agents in DEN are wearing ALPO lanyards, you gatta support your team

Well, for one, weight and balance deviation.

Potentially far worse = INTENTIONALLY departing with falsified, and incorrect weight and balance data....and that could up the "serious Fed factor" considerably on several levels...and all for the simple sake of being rude morons, and abusing an FA and her family...how utterly "professional" all around.

"Capt XYZ..Were you aware that you had an error of 7 pax?..and; did you knowingly depart without first correcting this?" "Well...yeah Mr. FAA Dude..but the beotch was wearin' some USAPA lanyard!!".."Whut wuzz I 'posed ta' do?"..."Nobody wuzz gonna' find out anyway...so: WTF's your problem Fed Dude?"

And..Darwin then steps into the fray....Those morons could easilly get some serious sanctioning. For any equally adolescant "professhunuhls" out there: Be advised that fines against the company for such BS are hardly unprecedented, and wouldn't be kindly looked upon as well.

That's essentially what USAPA is trying now (the company already _has_ the list).
The company has a "proposed list" that may or may not be compliant with whoever has the CB&L (I would argue that it is not even in compliance with ALPA CB&L, but that might be moot.)
