So does anyone know of the context as to why Lombardo supposedly flipped out? And is today's union update just telling us Gary is at the table now or is this all they will accomplish this week?

And Peterson is NOT in the room to shaft the Base Maintenance people. Sounds to me like you'd be happy if they did though?

I don't believe he's in there to screw anyone, he is there for HIS members!
I am a TULE AMT so why would it make me happy?
I like to think that I'm a very observant person and have seen the International use tactics over the decades that pander to the majority to keep the most Revenue flowing to the TWU and see this as a continuation of those tactics.

I get the feeling you are here simply to deflect and change the course of any negative posts.
Unless you can post something from our negotiating past to prove they are looking out for ALL members equally or can post some hypothetical outcome from what is going on then I will not reply to any more of your posts..

I can post proof that overall AA has more Maintenance personnel (Far more people that do your job BTW) than any other airline. That's an easy one. So I guess they treated you equally.

SWAMT just gave you their percentages only a page or two back did he not? Would you like to have their level of outsourcing?

So get this our regional union rep just came into our breakroom about an hour ago he only stayed for 10 minutes he was on his way out but he told us , he is aware of some rumor I don't know who he talk to that there is a contract on the table as of now and this might be because in September there is some kind of union convention? I'm not sure what that means and I guess the international wants to get it out and vote and hopefully ratified before September have it all said and done so they can part them selves on the back i'm not sure what convention he's talking about and I couldn't get a question in because too many people were asking him over and over again about abuyout , again I know this is very limited information I am giving you and I also know that there's not many answers to the questions that this will bring up but he said if it's true we should hear about something very soon he couldn't give us any details and said sorry I have to go guys ,but apparently the rumor is strong enough to where he believes it has merit

If TUL OH Mechanics are really so frightened I have to wonder why that is? Do they feel like maybe "they" did something in the past to Line Mechanics that maybe they never got over? Maybe these guys think some people might want to settle an old score?

Tell you the truth I wish it were that easy. But I don't think AA or the IAM would really be that concerned with the TWU Convention. And also I know this might burst some people's bubbles but the Members at AA don't have the largest chunk of delegates by themselves not by a long shot. Local 100 is that big dog.

Now I'm sure those guys would like to sow this up and it be an overwhelming yes vote before that Convention but I guess we'll see what happens.

They did call their participation "Expeditited Negotiations" though.

Oh and the Company could of course have handed them a total economic package on all remaining articles? But that doesn't mean they'll call it a TA until they give it a good looking over first.

I think it was the international was more concerned of having it done by the convention Not the TWU or IAM
