On the Sunday in 2002 they filed chapter 11, they walked into negotiations, threw down a final offer to the committee and said “we are filing bankruptcy, vote on this”.

All I know driver is that when these guys get their TA that they have to pick through and decide if they like or not, I’m gone from their thread. I get the feeling one guy in particular is not going to give them the same courtesy though (Not you I hope) and be coming here to tell them how terrible their deal is? And it won’t matter to this person if it really is good or bad because his personal agenda to him is more important.

The only thing I will ask them if they like it, if it passes and becomes their contract great. When we get ours and it's done I too will move on. See I quit arguing because it became pointless and life is to short!

Trust me weez. The mechanics know why I am here, you do not. Your asso. promised ILC to the members prior to them being certified as the asso. in order to win the support from the members. I am here to show people like you and others that this asso. will tell the membership only what they think the membership wants to hear. I have told you guys over and over again what was coming in the T/A and a brief highlight was just released and it was everything I said it would be and NOT ILC as promised. Yes Tom and Al are gone, they couldn't handle the truth when it came out and made them all look so bad, just like 700. I am not here to wish the AA'ers a bad contract, I am here to help ensure the asso. delivers what they promised or they will get removed, period. You can rah rah for your asso. all you want, but the 4 highlights below speaks volumes of all our past back and forths and it is just killing you that I was right on all areas. Yes it does suck, I agree 100%. But the recent update just glorified my credibility hasn't it weez? Now maybe you will start listening and revamping your efforts towards putting pressure on your asso. to provide an ILC as promised.

They were already negotiating concessions to scope, wages pensions and benefits and agreed to them prior to the co. filing, I have read copies of the negotiations.

The association will never last. The two unions have done nothing but hide the truth and been sleeping with the company. I would like to know how many outstanding grievances will be negotiated away to get what the company wants. I think we have been misrepresented for years. There is no gag order on this current negotiations, but still the local negotiator does not answer our questions completely. My God he sits at the table. Make some notes after your day negotiating!
