The UAL tech Almgated contract had a 100k buyout up to end of 2018 when you wanted to leave. Had to sign up and agree first quarter of 2017. Agreement ratified 12-5-16. Lil over 1000 techs participated and still leaving with scheduled departure up to end of 2018. A real union negotiating an almagated agreement.

Still had bridge medical with 11 hours of sick time to pay for til 65 if u were at least 60.

My expectation is for the company and union to deliver a industry leading jcba. I`ve looked at the info from UAL and use that as my baseline, a starting point. Unfortunately I only have seen anecdotal information on Deltas compensation. $100k buy out, $20k signing bonus, retiree medical bridge. The company is going to have to beat those for starters otherwise I will be a solid NO when its time to vote.

Let’s hope it doesn’t take 4 years past the amendable date to get a contract worth a yes vote. Maybe we are ahead of where UAL/CAL was a year before their amendable date? Who knows.
I just have a bad vibe based on the UAL and SWA drawn out negotiations. I see the company playing hardball as long as the flights leave on time.

I agree. While I appreciate GP video update, I do not see an agreement anytime soon.

UAL is doing better than us at SWA for vacation been here 24 years, the most we get right now is 5 weeks.

If you know what’s going on “in the room” let us know. Please, share the intimate details. What facts do you have, or even what has management or the ASSociation hinted at, that this will be a true industry leading contract?
We’re all speculating based on what management has said and Peterson has said.
You seem so confident of a true industry leading offer. I’m all ears.
