Aircraft maint issues

Cause he is trying to sell AMFA as the best thing for us, meanwhile they have the highest percentage of outsourcing, they have been in Section 6 negotiations for over five years and no progress and their talks are on ice.

In 15 years they haven’t brought in any work except one line in exchange for foreign outsourcing, yet he will blame the IBT for it alll.

Also he is all over the Fleet thread too, there is something wrong with him.

Keep posting. Your doing great all by yourself with all the lies...

I’m curious why are SWA mechanics making comments on AA forum?

Matt did you see this last update from TWU Local 591 President Gary Peterson who represents members at American Airlines in the Executive Negotiations.

We have ongoing negotiations for the next 3 weeks.

This is nothing that has anything to do with some outfit called Southwest Airlines.

No one wants a crap deal for cash, just like the American guys don't, so take your time and get it right.

I’m 100% positive that TWU/IAM Association Executive Negotiators, President’s, AGC’s and it’s members are not going to accept any crap deal from American Airlines period.

There really isn’t a shortage of AMTs, plenty at the MROs to feed the airlines and still some out there who were laid off.

There isn't a shortage? Thanks, I needed a good laugh. I see the need daily, as I remain on 3 different AMT head hunter lists - for just this reason. I have never seen so many openings for Aircraft Mechanic positions in my 35 years in the profession. There may be some bodies out there working on aircraft at MROs, but that doesn't mean they have A&P licenses. If they are working at an MRO in the first place, one has to wonder, what the hell is wrong with them? Oh, there are a few exceptions, inexperience, live in the area, and don't want to move, etc.. No sane, licensed AMT - puts in the time and effort of getting FAA A&P licenses - to settle on working for some shite bag MRO. The other ones, well usually there is something wrong with their background check or a failed drug screening. Then, you have your non - English speaking types that many of these MRO vendors attempt to sneak in. Anybody remaining on layoff - it is not because there isn't quality companies to work for - it's because of choice to not relocate, typically awaiting a recall.

swamt you are very welcome on the aa side. You are a real amt why we have non amts haters posting there hateful non amt rhetoric. Plus there hypocrites telling you lies about AMFA when the twu and iam are amts worst night mare. And have done worse example 2003 twu gave everything we had in like a month of negotiations with no snap back. In 2012 they told us to vote yes in the bk. Are the judge would decide. Well the pilots turned there first one down the judge told the company and union to work it out. I’m so sick of twu iam lies. The iam is worst look at Boeing . I’m tired of non amts posting there bs when they have never signed legal responsibility for the airplane. That we work on. Until they get a license I feel there comments are mute.

This constant “hater” comment makes you sound like a little girl. What’s going to be your next comment? “Talk to the hand”

Conehead if you want to be part of a Private Club go join Bushwood and hang out with Judge Smails.

And this comment of yours proves once again that you’re a mindless Zombie.

You’re correct.

Karnac makes another prediction! Remember your association vote prediction :)

Your credibility with most is shot!

Bro go back. Ah ah. I was saying after I read the filing by the IAM that there wouldn’t be a vote. I’m not Jim Little or his old buddy NYer.

I have invited him, are you going to have those not working at American Airlines banned next? Seems that you have forgotten the US Constitution and maybe the rules of this forum.
