Kat, we did it the US way at my former airline. Believe me, the AA way is fine. You'll adjust. It just isn't that big a deal.

Get over it you no longer work for USAir anymore. Let the ones that are employed at AA argue and be concerned over it. BTW: AA is hiring flight attendants, Interested?700UW said:It is a big deal to people at US who have been using it all their career, and with FCFS its a disadvantage to hub employees that has never been the case at US.
How is it fair that a in-transit passenger now takes priority over a hub employee?
This was previously discussed in another forum in detail. Stop stirring the pot.700UW said:It is a big deal to people at US who have been using it all their career, and with FCFS its a disadvantage to hub employees that has never been the case at US.

Ever hear of pass privileges and its not over till the grievances are settled, as there are two precedent setting grievances at US that just dont disappear.1AA said:Get over it you no longer work for USAir anymore. When you buy the board and make the rules then you can tell others what to do, I was just replying to another poster.1AA said:This was previously discussed in another forum in detail. Stop stirring the pot.
This was also discussed. The grievances will be tied up for a long time and when the merger is complete the grievances will be a moot point. Why do you care so much? You do not even work for USAir or AA. Let the ones that are affected by this be concerned. This is the NEW AA with your beloved DP running the show. You can see how much he cares or respects the former USAir employees. So far it has been mostly the AA way.700UW said:Ever hear of pass privileges and its not over till the grievances are settled, as there are two precedent setting grievances at US that just dont disappear.
Bitter I see. Never claimed to own the board and all you do is stir the pot and get people riled up over something that is their concern not yours. We will see how far the grievances will go once all is said and done. Your just looking for attention here on this board. Have a nice day if you can.700UW said:I dont owe you an explanation of anything, your are not the board owner or moderator, dont like it, dont read it and use the ignore feature.
And if US/AA violates a precedent setting grievance it goes to court where the unions will seek a TRO and/or an injunction, been there done that have you?
And funny I didnt see you tell the other posters who have posted about travel and tell them to stop.
Hypocrite much?

How AA processes elite upgrades too. First come first serve within tier status, and connecting passengers are given priority. Silly if you ask me since local pax offer pay more than connecting. NRSA privileges are from the company you can take what they are offering or leaving it, they will prevail. The US CBA language that you speak of won't exist much indefinitely.700UW said:It is a big deal to people at US who have been using it all their career, and with FCFS its a disadvantage to hub employees that has never been the case at US.

And routes to weak hubs with dumpy facilities on stripped down planes.AirwAr said:You're still complaining about this? Don't forget, you wanted to march on Washington to get this deal done. Now you have it! You're not going to get everything you want...and you should be happy that US management is in control and they are actually implementing many of US's policy.
Actually, you just prove what every AA employee was thinking pre-merger...US brings nothing to the table but a bunch of whiners.
