AA flight attendants

Is bigger better ? how much money has AA made in the past 10 years ? The thinking seems to be that since we are bigger things should be done our way. Some of the policies implemented to us on the US side are a joke. Our manager said today " Its the american way now , even if it isn't right " , so sad.

Nope you all got raises for the merger, not the US ground folks.

And so you saying its ok for the company to violate the CBAs and get away with it?

Its not the roll over TWU.

So what if the company said we are only going to pay PMAA employees minimum wage, would that be ok?
....because the merger wouldn't have happened and US wouldn't have access to AA's revenue without the support of AA employees.

apparently you'll have to adjust to the reality that a less senior AA employee could end up higher on the standby list than you.

don't wreck the merger for your own personal interests.

I think that this time around US isn't the bigger, surviving carrier and that rankles. It was Parker and company that decided on the "Adapt and go" theory. They saw forcing the larger carrier to adopt the policies of the smaller didn't quite turn out too well.

Hey Bunt, remember "Cool Northern Efficiency" ?

To put things in perspective, 90% of what you wear or use is via sea transport. Owner treatment of labor in the maritime industry is appalling. Unfettered free enterprise is alive and well beyond the un-governed 12 mile limit and it shows:  http://ninetypercentofeverything.com/

DOH or FCFS...what happens to the grievance there, 700??
I believe they probably gave it up since AFA will probably be no more including the CBA.  Just my guess!

The PMUA AFA CBA stays in effect until a JCBA is negotiated and ratified.

PMUA? This is the AA forum, not United, discussing integration with USAIR AFA flight attendants, that would be PMUS.

Do very many US flight attendants frequent this board? I asked this question a few weeks ago in the US board, all I got was crickets.

FCFS is not fair to hub employees, so an outline station non-rev will get on a flight before someone at a hub, if what everyone has said is true.

This is true that the "T" classification favors a non hub employee's advantage..

The choices are burn a D1 and hope the T's are not D1

or fly to AUS as a D2, then back to DFW as a D1 for that D1T status.. Aloha!

Do you think that the computer doesn't know you have done this? And, it's a "you just forfeited your travel privileges" offense.
