Are those the seats by the galley? If so, we flew those back from HNL once. It would have been great if not for the FA's pissing and moaning (loudly) the whole flight about us being in their seats.jimntx said:However, Rogallo, my brother, the retired Army Lt. Col. (ret) has informed me that if he loses his D3 travel privileges if I retire then I can just count on working until I drop dead.
He and his wife D3'd from HSV to HNL (through DFW) in the middle of the summer to visit their son who is active Army before he went to Afghanistan for a year, and they not only got on the first flight going and coming, they got those 767 coach HJ seats that are at a bulkhead and a door; so they had worlds of legroom (he's 6'3"). And, that's just one example of his luck at D3 travel. Whereas I've had more than one D1 burned while I road the jumpseat to where I was going because there weren't even coach seats available!

Nope you all got raises for the merger, not the US ground folks.AirwAr said:
It really sucks that AA employees have to put up with your management...but now we also have to listen to you and your co-workers' unrelenting bitching. First you #### cause the merger was in jeopardy...now you #### cause the merger has happened.
I certainly hope you're not getting a pay raise out of this merger...I know you would be on these boards complaining about that too.
