PullUp said:Speaking of "fare", since AA now has US managment, you no longer have to pay to ride.
And BTW, nice attitude. You got 30K more employees competing for nonrev seats, but if you are any indication, US got 90K AArogant AAssholes competing for our seats.
Welcome aboard.

You are probably right that I have a bad attitude...I guess that's because not only did we (AA) get stuck with the ugly girl at the ball, but she's whining and complaining all the way home. Now, with DP and gang taking over, it's like we've moved in to live with her parents.
Thank you for not whining about DOH.
For US East employees...I'll bet you know exactly what I'm talking about. You remember the feeling when America West took over US? What did they bring to the table?
Who wanted DP?700UW said:You all wanted Doug and US, have you forgotten that?
And HP didnt take over US, it was a merger that US raised all the money for, Lakefield was a caretaker CEO, he and Seabury and Associates raised all the money, HP had none.

Wow, you US Air people really are a bunch of whiny babies. FCFS is fare.
And don't think for a moment that just because you live in a hub that you won't appreciate the "thru-status" when you travel. Now that you're with a real global carrier I think you'll find that you're travelling through more than one hub or spoke city on your way to destinations more often than you think.
If it makes you feel any better, just think of all those new destinations you US Air people get to go to for free...and all that AA employees got was 30,000 more employees filling our planes.
We'll never know if this is true because it was never put to a vote...But great guessing and suposition!AdAstraPerAspera said:Even if every single US employee wanted DOH priority (which is hardly the case, and a very generous supposition on my part) FCFS would be favored 2 to 1. I'm just being real. I'm just being practical here.

It's simple arithmetic....Legacy AA has wAAY more people than Legacy US....2 to 1 maybe?Crash Pad DCA said:We'll never know if this is true because it was never put to a vote...But great guessing and suposition!

US serves more destinations in Europe than does AA. VCE on AA? I don't think so...
AA is far weaker than DL and UA in Asia and Oceana. AA does not have the global presence that other airlines do in these regions.
US employess only gain access to Central and South America where AA is dominant over DL and UA (and ancillary destinations in the Carribean that US doesn't serve).
