AA begins FA recalls

The number 75 came from THB conversations with a union rep. THB is said to have said she was told 75 by AA. At the moment 123 acceptances, near nil declines. LGA will have a few extra bodies?

I was just logging on to retract my post with the incomplete numbers. The source seemed reliable and I had every reason to believe the vast majority would have already responded, but that appears not to be the case. I apologize for posting incomplete numbers prematurely. Ten lashes with a wet headset for me!

However, I still think more recalls will follow.

Yes, company executives and union reps is the amswer. As for the numbers they are what was announced Tuesday but some recallees are reporting getting their packet late thus exact numbers will not be known until the 18th or later. Will be interesting to see the final tally.

AA is now preparing for 160 recalls.

Final numbers are in. 146 AA/TWA F/As accepted recall. Of those 146, 63 were AA and 83 were TWA.
