Flightaware's data can be a little(or a lot) off sometimes.Overspeed said:Something must be wrong with the speed data on Flightaware. It says the plane hit 985kts climbing through 21000 feet.
There's a troll over at Flyertalk pretending to be an "almost insider" at AA (he once posted that he has several neighbors who are AA management) and he just posted that access to the 787 has been restricted and that most employees at DFW have not been allowed to even see the plane. My guess is that he's full of $#!# but it does seem odd that on the FAA website, the plane is still registered to Boeing and not AA, given that AA flew it to DFW a couple of weeks ago.dvlhog212 said:Just walked thru and around 8AA. Very cool airplane!
There has not been just a whole lot of fanfare. It`s still sitting at DWH. It is undergoing conformity and the FAA has been doing their part for the last two days. As far as access, I can walk go check it out at anytime. I have not seen many "outsiders" checking it out though. I`m not sure of the schedule as I generally work Airbus and OTS stuff from DFW.There's a troll over at Flyertalk pretending to be an "almost insider" at AA (he once posted that he has several neighbors who are AA management) and he just posted that access to the 787 has been restricted and that most employees at DFW have not been allowed to even see the plane. Last week they had the 787 parked at gate A23 so ramp training could go over the cargo systems and lav/water..etc. It was suppose to stay most of the day, then all of a sudden they locked it up and taxied back to the hangar. Im not sure if it's true or not, but a CSM said too many people were up in the cabin messing around with the new seats. There's a troll over at Flyertalk pretending to be an "almost insider" at AA (he once posted that he has several neighbors who are AA management) and he just posted that access to the 787 has been restricted and that most employees at DFW have not been allowed to even see the plane. We were told that we are taking the 787 to the DFW side tomorrow morning and are leaving it there for a couple of days.DFWFSC said:Last week they had the 787 parked at gate A23 so ramp training could go over the cargo systems and lav/water..etc. It was suppose to stay most of the day, then all of a sudden they locked it up and taxied back to the hangar.
