A;; I know is we were briefed at our morning meeting yesterday to expect a 1530 arrival this Friday. I guess we will see.
 
Will be interesting to see which routes its used on. MIA-FRA is going to be flown with the 767-300. We will be competing with LH's A380! Would be nice to see it there!

My assumption is that it will be delivered this week yet its entry into revenue service won't happen for at least a couple weeks (sometime in Feb) while pilots log a few hours and a few takeoffs and landings. Although they've all logged plenty of Sim time, I think they did the same thing with the A321s before they were placed in revenue service on the transcons. As a completely new type, I assume that a couple dozen or more pilots will do some touch and gos before they go live with 200 passengers. Rumours are that the 787s will fly some domestic turns like DFW-ORD a few times before starting their planned TATL routes.

That's the same plan I`m hearing here. The BOW is already loaded and ready to go for 8AA. I`m still being told it will be here this Friday afternoon.
 
SSHHH, the 787 is coming. We were told today that absolutely NO pictures are to be taken of 8AA when it arrives Friday. Guess it`s a big secret!
 
why they keeping it hush hush when there are photos already  even on fb there are pics of the plane   so it cannot really be any big secret...
