It seems like what I brought out near the beginning of this thread might be close to the truth as the facts keep coming out. Except lets hope it backfires and we get the last laugh.

"I think it is all a ploy to further an agenda. Now they are saying you haven't heard the last of this. I bet they are all sitting back now laughing and praising each other on how well their plan worked out.

Just a view from an observer."

You've hit the nail on the head. Anyone who could disagree has not read the Koran. It's clearly there. Get a copy and read it. Muslims obey it blindly, don't you think Americans should be aware of Koranic demands?

It is a simple set up to sue USAirways for as much as they can get. There will be many many more.

Check out the CAIR website. They have an entire section for all Muslims to report any little offense in hopes of a lawsuit.

(sorry if this has already been covered)

I'm as fat fingered on the keyboard as anyone else, but couldn't resist pointing out the typo in the topic title:
from Dictionnary.com:

muslin  /ˈmʌzlɪn/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[muhz-lin] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
–noun
a cotton fabric made in various degrees of fineness and often printed, woven, or embroidered in patterns, esp. a cotton fabric of plain weave, used for sheets and for a variety of other purposes.
[Origin: 1600–10; < F mousseline < It mussolina, equiv. to Mussol(o) Mosul, Iraq (where first made) + -ina -ine1]

Had no idea the source of the word is Mosul

The MSP Crew-Disruptive Passengers

MSP Crew

Our fellow Flight Attendants - who worked the MSP-PHX flight
last week where disruptive passengers were removed - followed
procedure and were the utmost professionals and deserve our
unending support.

Recently, some have portrayed this incident as some type of
racial or religious profiling. Their recent press events,
accompanied by media-seeking politicians, were insulting and
plain wrong.

These passengers were removed because of their behavior, not
based on their appearance or religious practice.

Our fellow crewmembers gathered and sorted through information
they observed and information given to them by passengers and
acted appropriately based on the passengers behavior and for no
other reason.

Our fellow Flight Attendants acted in the best interests of
their passengers and safety and security of the flight and they
did the absolute right thing. Our fellow crewmembers performed
to the highest professional standards.

We welcome passengers from a diverse background on-board our
aircraft each and every day. Praying or religious observances by
passengers occur frequently in airports and on-board flights and
Flight Attendants manage those situations with skill and
respect.

We cannot allow these disruptive passengers to portray this
incident as something it was not. If airline management and
other so-called aviation experts coddle these disruptive
passengers, it will have a chilling and potentially devastating
effect on aviation security.

I keep seeing references to Racism in this thread. Being Arab or Muslim is not a Race. Being Jewish is not a race.

ASIAN, BLACK, & WHITE are races. (Mongoloid, Negroid, and Caucasoid.)

I believe these Imams are intentionally messing with us. They know how paranoid we are. This is an opportunity to get some media air time. These people are masters of manipulating the media and we are suckers for letting them do it.
I know one of the crewmembers, we also came to the conclusion that the current discussion of descrimination, fear and ignorance are exactly what they wanted. To simply provoke a reaction that they could put some spin on then let the media run with it.

Imams Gone Wild

http://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles/ReadA...le.asp?ID=25748

The Council on American-Islamic Relations is demanding Congress investigate US Airway's removal last week of six imams from one of its flights. The Muslim-rights group claims the imams, who were behaving suspiciously, posed no threat.

It's "very, very inappropriate to treat religious leaders that way," a spokesman fumed.

According to CAIR, imams are as harmless as Buddhist monks and deserve no less respect. Tell that to flight attendant Kimberly Banducci.

According to police reports I've obtained, the Delta Air Lines veteran was assaulted by a Muslim cleric in a bizarre attack aboard a flight from Miami International Airport three years ago. The wild scene, which involved federal air marshals and local police, was never reported in the media.

Another side twist to this is that bookings on US are up since this news! Think of the marketing potential!
Fly US Islam isn't!

I don't know if you meant that as a joke or not, but in my office , US bookings ARE up. The news has not gone unnoticed by the passengers and admin.

And Ann Coulter has been mentioned. She is championing US for their reactions, and apparently, many people admire her (me being one ), and take her advice to fly US above others, simply because they had guts and morals, and stood up to these people who many believe were just trying to shakedown US.

Lately, every now and then I've had someone say no NWA . I'm too danged curious to let that slide without asking why.

It's the Muslim/Imam press so far,without exception.

I just book make the res, and issue the tickets. But the shift is showing, bigtime.
