Can we get it back to the topic please? Feel free to discuss it in relation to the incident in MSP. Thanks.

That's too funny. We all know that there is no such thing as pathetic nonsense on the web!!

The gist of it is rather accurate. Having lived in the middle east for 3 years in the mid 90's, I know, I lived it. I lived with the "religion" and the intolerance and the hypocrisy each and every day. So I do know. I saw the aftermath of the bombing in Riyadh. I saw the aftermath of the bombing at Khobar Towers in Dhahran.

I would say that from your attitude that I would be surprised any Muslim gave you the time of day just like if you went to Bubbaville with "carpetbagger" or Sherman stenciled on your bag.

Did you bring your attitude to the ME or were you just wide-eyed naive?

Before I was there I made an attempt to understand a little language and religion. I got along fine. They seemed to appreciate someone willing to at least try.

About the "aftermath" of the bombings. Did you know the Saudi government is a brutal dictatorship and it would be natural for the natives to unleash bombings on occasion? Not that you would even care, perhaps esconsed in your own little "green zone".

Your last two posts are so on it's like you had an awaking...like the one post said...WOW

I've had no awakening. I've just been a witness to the U.S. government invading Iraq, and lying to Congress to get approval to declare war. U.S presence has escalated the violence to the point that its "out of control" and unwinnable (if winnable was even definable).

Instead of using the resources we had and going after Osama Bin Ladin and those leaders throughout the world as covert operations, they used the excuse to over throw Saddam and give the illusion they were doing something about terrorism by occupying a country that didn't ask to be liberated.

The risk and gamble Bush took was too great, and 2,800 military deaths later, 20,000 military injured, 30,000 Iraqis dead, $300 bilion later, the U.S. doesn't have an exist strategy and don't have the resources to now secure OUR borders and follow through on any threats to extinqush the real threat to the region and that is Iran...

and they know it.

There's no turning back the time. There is only moving forward and extinquishing this threat with a "total wipe out" of these regimes...swiftly, IMO

Shark,

A brown skinned disease???? Who said anything about skin color???? Has anyone on this forum????? You are the only poster that equates muslim, violence with skin color.

I watched many videos on Asama Bin Ladin. He's changed his position towards the citizens of the U.s. You should know better. His position is focused on the U.S. citizens as he has said, and as evidenced by the events 9/11.

You are wrong. Get up to date.

Actually, you are wrong.

O( or U) sama has been quite clear (assuming you get your info from the Pentagon or real sources and not from Faux entertainment or CNN).

Like in a court of law, translations or transcriptions of documents or evidence are treated differently than just plain testimony.

At least CNN has admitted to mis-interpretations. Faux entertainment is beyond redemption in that area.

As far as skin color, everyone has been dancing around the inevitable elephant in the room. Has anyone been upset at a white person fingering their prayer beads or praying in a boarding area? Anyone see a Walmart whitey take a seat they were not entitled to, yet no fanfare or "terrorist" implications, just a "please take your assigned seat". Anyone ask for a seatbelt extension that you thought really didn't need it? Did you give it to them?

Reality check. The writer Kendrick is protecting the captains job. He made a good case to me, but the reasons have little to do with what you are discussing.

I am deadly serious about security. It can be hard when the publically accepted "security" is most like Swiss cheese.

Focusing on physical characteristics and normal (in their culture) behavior patterns in order to determine intent has rarely succeeded in recorded history. But, your preoccupation with peripherals provides great cover for someone who does have evil intent.

As I posted, either U.S. closes and secures the entire U.S. borders with a massive military presence, become isolationists, and let the middles east including Israel fight out their sectarian and religious wars, OR the U.S goes in with a "plan of action" to extinquish this threat, up to and including use of nuclear weapons to take out Irans installations and the terror milicias in Iraq.

I think the American public is fed up just pissing around with PC and living in fear of when and where the next casualties will occur dealing with martydom mentalities.

I don't need to read pentagon security documents, as I wouldn't believe anything that comes out of the defense dept.

However, there were no "military-government complex" in taking down the twin towers...rather just about 3,000 civilians. Evidence speaks volumes rather than documents (you speak of) provide.

My attitude?? Too funny. I got along quite well while there. Just like you, I learned about the culture so again, I do understand.

I still agree with the crew...........better safe than sorry. Everyone should make a conserted effort, no matter which race, religion one is, to NOT draw attention to yourself.

End........

Not sure, as I dismissed him out of hand about 3 minutes into one of his campaign speeches. To me, John Kerry is the Poster Child for what's wrong in politics today.

I am not trying to derail the conversation, but I would opine that Bush 43 is the poster child.

Well we can disagree without being disagreeable can't we.

Absolutely.

I really do try not be disagreeable around here. Sometimes I even do the cop thing. You know, "put your hands in the air and step away from the keyboard".

Happy holidays, Bob.

Ann Coulter: How can I make your flight more uncomfortable?

The idea that a Muslim boycott against US Airways would hurt the airline proves that Arabs are utterly tone-deaf. This is roughly the equivalent of Cindy Sheehan taking a vow of silence. How can we hope to deal with people with no sense of irony? The next thing you know, New York City cab drivers will be threatening to bathe.

Come to think of it, the whole affair may have been a madcap advertising scheme cooked up by US Airways.

It worked with me. US Airways is my official airline now. Northwest, which eventually flew the Allah-spouting Muslims to their destinations, is off my list. You want to really hurt a U.S. air carrier's business? Have Muslims announce that it's their favorite airline.
