Pitbull, you missed the point. This is about prejudices under the disguise of "the ongoing war on terror". You of all people should know that we live in an America that still has it's stereotypes mixed up with reality. Maybe not on as grand a scales as the jihadest movement, but am I, a gay man, to fear ALL Christians because a few punks killed..no CRUXIFIED a gay kid in Wyoming because of their belief somehow that as a Christian, killing gays was acceptable? Or those that bomb abortion clinics or kill abortion doctors because it's what THEIR God, their "Christian" God would approve of?

Not all Christians are closed minded. Not all blacks fear water. Many whites CAN jump. And many gays like sports. Not ALL republicans are Christians and not ALL democrates are bleeding heart liberal.

And not ALL Muslims are jihad terrorist.

All this craziness over Islamic prayers. Read the article again. Some uneducated boob passed a note to a f/a, who never stopped to think about WHERE she was or WHAT these men were doing? Do you REALLY think that the REAL terrorist would make it obvious? If so, take a look back at 9/11. Those men assimilated to American culture and now the entire Arab community must pay?? If that's the case, the next time I see a Christian praying on an a/c, I'm having them removed. I find Christianity a threat to MY life. Much more than those of Islam who were doing nothing more than praying to THEIR God, something if a few Christians would do every once in a while might PREVENT much of the world's woes.
Christians are people who attempt to live their lives as Jesus Christ did. They do not hate. ANYONE. God is the judge. Not us. We are here to love. Not hate. The people that do harm in the name of Christianity are not Christians. They are terrorists. They hate. Christians do not hate. Period. God Bless You...

I agree, but I am a reformed Christian, which means - in the words of Bernie Mack's character in a movie - Love me and I love you, but if you steal from me, "im'a whup yo ass".

Does that mean if you hate you cannot be a Christian?

Is that the same as saying Christians do not sin?

Something to think about.

I always thought nobody is perfect and that is the point of a Savior.

I do agree Christians should attempt to live their lives in such a way. But I think the keyword is attempt and that everyone always fails at that attempt should be added too.

And while I believe that I don't think we are to judge and I don't think Christians have a monopoly on the pearly gates either.

I'm sure many have seen this before but........

The Muslim religion is the fastest growing religion per capita in the United States, especially in the minority races!!!

Allah or Jesus? By Rick Mathes

Last month I attended my annual training session that's required for maintaining my state prison security clearance. During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers representing the
Roman Catholic, Protestant and Muslim faiths, who explained each of their beliefs.

I was particularly interested in what the Islamic Imam had to say.
The Imam gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam, complete witha video.

After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers.

When it was my turn, I directed my question to the Imam and asked:

"Please, correct me if I'm wrong but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world and, that by killing an infidel, (which is a command to all
Muslims) they are assured of a place in heaven. If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?"

There was no disagreement with my statements and, without hesitation, he replied, "Non-believers!"

I responded, "So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can have a place in Heaven. Is that correct?"

The expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to that of "a little boy who had just been caught with his hand in the cookie jar." He sheepishly replied, "Yes".

I then stated, "Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine Pope John Paul commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Dr. Stanley ordering all Protestants to do the same in order to guarantee them a place in Heaven!"

The Imam was speechless.

I continued, "I also have problem with being your 'friend' when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me! Let me ask you a question. Would you rather have your Allah, who tells you to kill me in order for you to go to Heaven, or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to Heaven and He wants you to be there with me?"

You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung his head in shame.

Needless to say, the organizers and/or promoters of the
'Diversification' training seminar were not happy with Rick's way of dealing with the Islamic Imam and exposing the truth about the Muslims' beliefs.

In twenty years there will be enough Muslim voters in the U.S. to elect the President! I think everyone in the US should be required to read this but with the liberal justice system, liberal media, and the ACLU, there is no way this will be widely publicized.

This is a true story and the author, Rick Mathes, is a well known leader in prison ministry.

Didn't say that anyone has the monopoly on the pearly gates. Didn't say anything about perfection. Didn't mean to piss you off. Only stating the purpose of a Christian life. The POINT is that we are all here to LOVE our fellow man, no matter what the religion is. If you LOVE, you cannot HATE. Please, let's not get in another semantics war!

I agree with most of your point. You didn't piss me off and I am not going to get into a semantics war. I didn't say you said any of those other things. I said them.

But I do believe anyone can hate and it has with being human and imperfect. Anyone that that doesn't believe in what the terrorists did on 9/11 in my opinion, are lying to themselves if they think they can truly love them. Maybe you have a different definition of love and hate from me. I don't know.

Have a great day and I do like what you believe.

Only stating the purpose of a Christian life.

There is none. It's a [relationship] with the creator of the heavens and earth, that is the essence of it. Christianity doesn’t fit into anything of this world where a [purpose] can be manipulated by the enmity hence all the false God’s with their worshippers. They all worship what the enmity of the soul convinced them was the right thing to worship. People will worship anything when they are blind and easily lead. If Jesus said there is only one way, why are there so many different paths people take? The enmity, as usual. You can’t use your brains and come to this conclusion. If not lead by the Holy Spirit, it’s hopeless, therefore eat drink and be merry until it’s over.

These extremists are killing each other in sectarian volence throughout the middle east region. It doesn't matter to these militants whether they are are killing muslim or non-muslims. Its about power and control and believing in their extreme "elitists" views as the Nazi's did in Germany, and the people being silent, because they too, were afraid of being viewed as traitors and being slaughtered.

I don't look at the extreme Islam ideology as a conventional religion. I perceive it as a "belief system" more in line with an occult. I also believe that many hundreds of millions of muslims are silent to speak against this type of violence, because they are afraid of these malicias kidnapping them and chopping off their heads, or worse, their families.

I agree with your sentiments. This is such a serious issue for the world and every single American should be thinking about this daily. Let me be the first to say this...if the US government would decide to drop a NUKE on the Iranian installations, including tripping over North K. on the way...I wouldn't blink an eye of sadness. I also would support closing the US borders and increasing and having the biggest military the world has ever seen camped, surrounding the entire border of the United States...a huge National Guard calling on a "two-year draft" to guard our borders.

I think its time for the U.S. to become Isolationists. If the world wants assitance on dealing with these radicals...there is no talking about it...a "plan of world action" to literally create a world army of milicias to infiltrate the cells and blow them off the map.

This is no longer about jews and the Israelis. This type of world violence and hate is so ingrained in these extremists that it will take generations upon generations to wipe out. Those are the only choices. Either the U.S. takes an isolate position, OR they make a world plan with the rest of the world to infiltrate these "hate mongers" who seek to rule the world with their hate beliefs. The "plan" must include to blow them out of existence.

The second most important issue is ENERGY INDEPENDENCE. Call in the leaders of Brazil who are energy independent.

No more discussion about it...tolerance has been exhausted.

According to snopes.com, that is a completely false story, a lie.

Try verifying stories you hear before you spew such pathetic nonsense on the web.

That's too funny. We all know that there is no such thing as pathetic nonsense on the web!!

The gist of it is rather accurate. Having lived in the middle east for 3 years in the mid 90's, I know, I lived it. I lived with the "religion" and the intolerance and the hypocrisy each and every day. So I do know. I saw the aftermath of the bombing in Riyadh. I saw the aftermath of the bombing at Khobar Towers in Dhahran.

I would have to suggest that the most important issue is energy independence through alternative sources, as you said, a la Brazil.

If one understands that Islam is part and parcel of their government, then solutions are easier to achieve. (Look what will happen should fundies get their wish to bring their particular religious sect into US government).

If you think violence is a brown-skin disease, then I would like to take you back just a couple of years to northern Ireland, just to start.

BTW, read the Quran. They consider Christians and Jews to be neither heathen nor "non-believers". Should I say that again? If you would listen to speeches by bin Laden as well as others, their "jihad" is against the military-industrial complex and really not against the US people, much less, Christians. YMMV.

Shark,

A brown skinned disease???? Who said anything about skin color???? Has anyone on this forum????? You are the only poster that equates muslim, violence with skin color.

I watched many videos on Asama Bin Ladin. He's changed his position towards the citizens of the U.s. You should know better. His position is focused on the U.S. citizens as he has said, and as evidenced by the events 9/11.

You are wrong. Get up to date.

Your last two posts are so on it's like you had an awaking...like the one post said...WOW

This is simple with no intellectual mind required to see what's happening.

Look at the word of God to see what it says is coming and then look out your window...good versus evil as ancient as the enmity and his rebellion.
