When you and the rest of you 1999 hire scabs get stapled and immediat furloughed, I'm sure the APA can get you some kind of "jets for jobs" again. Don't count on any PHX assistance but you still may get it. You must be a stress eater Courtney...given your schitty airline and career choices...I'd say that explains your size.

You asked for the binding arbitration. You got it. You didn't live up to it. You paid for it. Then you tried to sue the crap out of the west guys and made their life pretty miserable with the help of Parker. Now you are trying to justify your idiotic behavior.

You guys will have to refund the funds from USAPA. That is in the works.

The funniest part will be when the APA makes the mistake of arbitration. Then the 2 yr east pilot on an A 330 gets to stand and be stacked far higher than a 10 yr west pilot.
That is going to be the topper.

KV has no skin in the game. He just makes more money than you and banks it. The one who will really piss you off are the east new hires who go far above you owing to 330 seats.

The last time I saw Courtney he needed to GAIN some weight and catch up on some sleep. He has been a hard worker and has truly grown into his former position as BPR rep.

It seems the prospective west merger committee members are starting to realize their participation in the SLI will be pursuant to the protocol agreement, if they consent to all of its terms, the terms APA and USAPA negotiated.

KV can bid left seat on the 330. Something the sand dwellers may get locked off of for 10 years. He has no skin in the game. He can bid the highest paying position at USAirways. You, not so much.......

He does a great job. Mark needs to pay attention. His career is pretty much laughable.

The west pilots are the concern to APA.  Majority of East pilots will be retired by the time a combined seniority list is worked out, a few years at least.

A AAA/AWA Joint Chairman's message has been emailed to pilots and posted
under What's New. The text of the letter is below:
 
AAA-AWA MEC Joint Chairman’s Message
 
January 31, 2008
 
Fellow America West and US Airways pilots,
 
Today, the AAA and AWA Steering Committees and their respective merger and
negotiating teams will begin talks about the issues separating our pilot groups in
order to produce a comprehensive contract counterproposal for both MECs to
review. As we have said in the past, any comprehensive proposal must adequately
address seniority implementation issues and all open JNC issues for both pilot
groups.

 
The Steering Committees are meeting at a neutral site, and to give this process
the best chance for success, both sides have agreed to a communications blackout
during this time. As a result of this policy, our pilots should understand that any
hearsay information floating around is unsubstantiated, and should be treated as
rumor only.
 
If the AAA and AWA Steering Committees are able to successfully produce a
comprehensive contract counterproposal, it will first be reviewed by both MECs. If
both MECs approve the final product, JNC negotiations would resume with
management as we counter the infamous “Kirby proposal” that we received on
May 8, 2007.
 
If a TA is achieved through joint negotiations and is subsequently approved by
both MECs it will be sent to each pilot group for ratification. The rank and file
members of this union will be the ultimate arbiters of any agreement.
 
There is much at stake here for both pilot groups. None of your union volunteers
takes the challenges ahead of us lightly. Your MEC leadership and the Steering
Committees all appreciate your patience while we work through these very
difficult issues.
