One of the four Leonidas LLC directors is apparently now employed as an American Airlines pilot;\

Having Kevin Horner associated in any way with this DFR only hurts the effort. How can he adequately meet the fiduciary requirements to fairly represent the class? Our sources have told us that Kevin Horner’s current union, the APA, is furious with him for his participation in a DFR suit against another union.




You have no friends at the APA, just ask Ferguson about his phone call to them, priceless!!

Yep, that it, it's over. You guys won. Now that the APA is our union they can dictate a west merger committee, or just designate that we start with the Nic. Oh, wait...

Well, I do not know what to make of this except to say, one side is obviously very wrong!

I will say this, and maybe Pi can archive it for future reference. March 17, 2014 will be the day of single carrier status confirmation by the NMB.

On that date the SCAB union will no longer have any legal authority to represent West's interest. Any attempt at forcing the West under a uscaba umbrella for representation would open the floodgates of litigation. Exactly what it seems is trying to be avoided.


So, I picked the exact date that the AMR/LCC merger would be announced, and now I am going for an exact date the SCAB union becomes irrelevant.

For those of you historically challenged, March 17th is St. Patrick's day. The patron saint of the Irish, who is given credit for banishing all snakes from Ireland. And similarly, the NMB will banish the SCAB union from AAL."

So, what list did the APA receive from USAPA?  Will it matter?  Not really.  The company and the APA are staying out of legal hot water, the company has accepted the Nic and the APA can care less how the US pilots are ordered.  US is mostly merging into Group 2 by using a Nicolau methodology which heavily favors the American pilots.   Over four times the number of group 3 and 4 aircraft, the Nicolau methodology (which favored the top east 517) will also heavily favor the APA this time around.  This is on solid leads from the APA.  

The end is near, DOH is dead.  LOL

"It is up to usapa now to get us a contract. If the company appeals this they are going to tell the NMB that is is still in court and they can't negotiate with usapa until that is done, maybe 2 years.

It should be usapa and you east guys that are upset the company will appeal. This ruling is fine with me. No immunity for the comapany, strong warning to usapa. If she had said usapa had to use the Nicolau usapa would have appealed. Now they have nothing to appeal they just have to perform. For the last 5 years we have seen piss poor performance from usapa so I expect the same.

It will be the east guys getting angry. usapa told them they have the right but will not be able to get their proposed seniority list past or even to the company. We will have a joint contract with APA implementing the Nicolau before usapa has a chance to do anything.

usapa said they got this. Let's see some actions boys. Where is that proposed seniority list? Why does usapa go ahead and publish that bad boy for all of us to see just how usapa is going to treat all of the pilots they represent fairly.
