Jester,But here's a gray area... let's say AA has an opening in a station in which US also has operations, should we first hire off the street or make that available to furloughed US agents? Personally, I don't see much different if a station has just one represented group (US in PHX and AA in AUS) vs. both represented groups are in the same station (US and AA in DFW). If a position is open, and plans are to hire off the street, then those positions should be available to either furloughed (or transfer) agents first from the other group, as it is just a matter of time before we are all one airline and work group.
I don't know the US East furlough situation very well, but I am sure there are some who would desire to transfer to JFK, SAT, AUS and SJU. Just curious... does AA agents handle IAH, ELP, STL, DSM, BNA or OMA ramp? Is there an available list of current stations being staffed by AA agents?
AA has it's own agents in DFW, ORD, MIA, JFK/LGA, LAX, SFO, LAS, DCA, ATL, TPA, MCO, AUS, SJU, STL, STL, BOS
