Currently there is no LAA in clt. Clt is contracted out. The only way a LAA guy would currently come to clt would be if under the TWU contract AA insourced clt by the TWU numbers. So no LAA guy could come to clt and pay IAM dues. The only time that would happen would be after a jcba which then we all would be under the same agreement, then that persons dues would then go to the IAM under the coalition.
That will all be discussed in the upcoming negotiations. I can tell you once the association is in control which will be when we get a jcba then each station will either be IAM or TWU. We will all at that point be under the same contract and I would expect do all of mainline operations in that station. As far as express work? That will have to be determined. The two unions are in the process of working on an agreement to bring back furloughed AA agents before hiring off the street. They would get pay seniority only, if they came back before a jcba since they would be coming back as US employee. Until a joint cba both sides will remain seperate with each our own cba. Not sure if this answers the questions?T5towbar said:CB.
I wanted to ask about that. In the situations where you have split operations (ie: US employees working on one side; and the AA side is vendored out - or vice versa) is there a chance that once a contract is done, you all will get all of the work? And how will the Association handle it? Will it be just AA or US employees get back and stay separate, or it will have to wait once there is a single joint seniority list? I know I am asking, because looking across the ramp, you have a split operation here at EWR, (US on one side - AA side vendored out) and I was just curious on how it was going to be settled once a contract is completed. Will "split operated" stations be totally insourced? I would hope that would be the case. And if so, there must be a timeframe to when that will happen, because in our case, the company is dragging out the insourcing (unless there are saving those spots for station closures and freezing the bid list).
Good luck to you all!!

In communication with an AGC that the hope is to cut a separate check for the bonus as it is taxed at a lower rate. If its put into your paycheck it is taxed much higher and by % you will see a lot less of it.robbedagain said:thanks CB. Do you know when the bonus will be I told some folks here that it would be Aug 8 but no later than 22nd but some are hoping for this friday but I dont think it would be that quick
