See by him protesting the election, they will certainly grill Tracy as why she didnt request more ballots, knowing only 600 ballots were sent and she mailed out 100 or so absentee ballots, leaving 500 ballots for 900 eligible members to vote.

Rick isnt not liked out on the property and lots of shenanigans going on.
Actually, the DOL will go by bylaws and laws and make rulings on that. The question about CLT and those 79 ballots has more to do with the INTL approving them, even though they were not secret ballots. That has nothing to do with Tracy.  Interesting enough, the District chose not to count those ballots until 15 minutes before the close of the ballot count last week when 3 of the U4C candidates were going to win.  At that point, the District counted them and said take matters to the DOL.  So that's whee all of this mess is headed. It's quite a compelling case and I'm hopeful I can persuade the DOL to have a rerun election prior to the terms, as I did with the INTL election.  Hopefully, the members will be able to have a real election this February or around 6-8 months.  I also ask for the removal of the upper leadership since the actions are repeated, and blatant. Not sure how much success I'll have with that, but it's going to be very rewarding to lay down the hammer on these guys and spare nothing.

In any case, a rerun election WILL be granted.  Prez knows that as well.

Who at the local level handles all the correspondence and elections?

That would be the Recording Secretary, I should know I was the RS for 1725 before, I know what the job entails.

She should have contact the district, 500 ballots for 900 eligible members isnt enough and it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure that out, or just does it speak for the cognitive, or shall I say lack of them for people on your ticket.

Trust me there is a paper trail and phone trail of what happened in 1725 and the District approved the fix, not the International.

Also it better to err in favor of the member then to refuse them the right to vote, and those 79 ballots wouldnt have matter, your slate got crushed in CLT.

Tim,

I told you that if people wanted to challenge any Union election that discrepancies could be found. Fortunately, most Unions accept what the members say in the vote, save one(you). Ask the dol rep if your behavior was acceptable during this election. I think you know what that answer will be.

Please do tell if you would support an all UA ticket. The members want to know.

Those 79 ballots did matter.  3 U4C would have won the election.  I thought you knew the election was cumulative systemwide?  Tracy actually only lost by 55 votes after the District decided to count the non secret ballots.

Discrerpencies?  LMAO.   Actually, there are over 75,000 locals, mid level, etc union entities yet less than 20 election reruns.  The reason is that most union officers don't F over the members and blow up elections.  It would be morally insensitive to just allow the violations of the members and not fight.   Do you think it is ok to accept all of the violations against the members, if such violations exist?  Yes or No?    The DOL will order a rerun.  It has no choice after this ridiculousness.

So... essentially, Nelson will trigger an investigation that will lead back to his own political ticket? This is a made for Hollywood comedy script, with multi-layered subplots!

Sounds like a pre planned setup if you ask me. Totally orchestrated.

Yes and it sounds to me like your running mate Tracy may have to be arrested and sent to Federal Prison?

What's the matter Tim. Was the lady you placed your confidence in just too stupid to be able to count?

Send her to the corn fields.

This lady Tracy violated the members rights by dereliction of duty. Or just being a plain dumb ass?

one thing I have to say is  I personally wont want nor will ever want is for any UA personal to represent me bec 1 I do not work for UA and 2 they could give 2 sh!t$ about the PMUS folks anyhow

Hmmm... sorta like planned chaos, or sabotage of an election, with an investigation only triggered if you lose?

But also when this lady only asked for enough ballots to cover 60% of the members why didn't red flags go up on the other end? As much as I can bet that this was a setup someone on the other end also fell for it it seems.

She didnt ask for any ballots, the DL sent them out.

She should have requested more realizing that there were only 500 ballots for 900 voters.

Ah ok. Then to be fair she would only be half guilty for not counting them to make sure there were enough. I have to take back my comment that this was pre planned then in fairness. They are going to try and capitalize on that error though. If CLT is the only one ordered in the end to re vote it still won't give Tim a prayer of leaping that canyon though.

Maybe she thought that the AM voting favored her team, and anticipated an advantage if ballots were exhausted prior to PM voting?
