there already is a charge written by someone else that our whole team supported whether we won or lost. That charge is winding its way through the intl and will be sent to the dol. So the answer was yes. However im not convinced that dol charge will be as strong since it involves other issues. Time will tell, however if that charge sticks then a rerun could happen in a couple months which i would be fine with.

My hope is that they learn from the error of their ways. Im having a blast writing the case as it gives me great joy knowing im upholding the rights of the members against the violators. They actually had to break most laws to steal the decision.

Not sure why we have to discuss this but, yes, I am writing a case with charges.  Yes, someone else filed other charges about a month ago which will leave the INTL desk prolly in a couple weeks or less and be submitted to the DOL. Not sure how the DOL will review those charges but if it's favorable, there could be a rerun election in a couple months.   The charges I will file are extensive and exhaustive and will be packaged up for the INTL in a week.
 
Yes, we would have destroyed the incumbents if they played fair,  but they chose to break the laws and bylaws. You should charge me as a very bad IAM member if what I'm saying is not true.  I mean, you or someone should uphold the bylaws if I'm just bull shitting.  But you know I'm not.  In a twisted way, things in 2016 will be better than anticipated since the district mortgaged 2016 for 2014 and gave up control of the election.  Plus we will be able to pack on more candidates and continue building.

When the DOL makes the ruling, they only make such rulings when they realize that the results could have been different.  Do you support your leaders violating the rights of members?  Yes or No?
At any rate, we will find out the DOL decision much sooner than when you will find out the result of your 5 year grievance.

P. Rez I think you are putting the cart before the horse.  Any number of things can happen between now and then, including possible representational structure changes within the IAM depending on the outcome of the alliance.

personally Tim  I don't even know how serious these violations are  or if its serious enough to warrant a DOL investigation  but one thing I have to ask is  how could Tracy have 500 ballots knowing she needed say 1000  that's quite a discrepancy there.
 
josh...I do believe P Rez knows what he's talkin about  after all hes been in the top area now for a few yrs...  The alliance is what threw the company off.  The company never thought the TWU and the IAM would join forces..

Assuming it happens-if it doesn't the IAM very well may get decertified and the TWU will be the sole bargaining agent.
