1st Q Numbers look great!

no other airline's labor was engaged in protests yesterday.

if you have evidence otherwise, let me know.

and you are wrong. I didn't make a comparative comment about other airlines. I simply noted that WN's stock fell yesterday and was a considerable distance away from the goal you want to see.

DL was mentioned nowhere in those comments.

The question is whether it really will make a difference and whether WN is willing to continue to pay higher salaries than market for ramp service.

More than that, the question is whether or not WN will continue to see their employees as the same long term investment they historically have...

I don't think there is any doubt they still see their employees as long term assets.

They cannot pay them well above average salaries in an industry which is highly competitive.

it was easy for WN to pay its most senior employees high salaries when the company was growing. That is much, much harder to do when more and more people are top of scale, just as at the legacies, and growth has slowed meaning fewer and fewer new hire employees as a percentage of the total operation.

Correct Kev.  We shall see what 2015 holds for us, stay tuned...

and as you are also quick to point out, treatment might not include just economic issues.

many WN employees - esp. on the ramp do not believe they can be well-treated unless some economic issues including staffing levels on the ramp are changed.

So as a retired Delta employee, you have spoken to these "many WN employee's?  How Nice

I can read what they write and do.

to think that a big group will work to get contracts signed is more than a stretch
