Dave is busy doing interviews making false claims about how many cards he has. Kind of like the AMP claims that they had all those cards as well.
AMFA is like the scientology. They play on people's ego's and insecurities in the hope that their craft union mantra will convince them that they will suddenly be happy and wealthy. The reference a AMT pay being so high when you are AMFA and promise it can be you too. They fail to mention that out of the original 25,000 that they told that story to only a few thousand ever got that money. Not all of us can be Tom Cruise or John Travolta I guess.
Unless of course that second opinion is yours.
Yes, The PEB was the goal but we had to get through the BK to get there. If we got a favorable ruling from the judge great and if we didn't then our goal would be the PEB as a way to fight like hell instead of pretending to fight like hell. If anyone misleads it is our international and the company for letting the members actually believe over and over again that there was a "fight like hell plan" when there was none other than give in!So your goal was to get to a PEB eventually? Missed that BK thing getting in the way didn't you? You know, the one that was a scare tactic.
You mislead constantly Chuck. You try to convince people that we had some kind of leverage in BK when we had none. Yes we could have voted no and risked a favorable ruling by Lane but that was very unlikely. The APA is feeling that and now they are throwing a tantrum. (I am sure, just as you should be, that AA is planning to take the APA to court for a TRO like they did with us.) Had we voted down the CBA then we would have faced the implications of the term sheet. Based on the Company's Transition Plan the cuts would have been deep like they said they would have under abrogation. AA management is going crazy trying to outsource as much as they can quickly. Under the 3/22 term sheet they would have done the same while your hero Bob and the rest of the vote no coalition tried to get AA to give in to your demands. You know what, AA probably would have given most of what you guys wanted pay wise but that would have been after only DWH and a much smaller TUL was left.

what surprises me is that in officer training given by the TWU they highlight Mike Quill and praise him for his accomplishments. Yet, the TWU ATD follow nothing what he stood for and knock people who believe in his union mentality. Who is misleading now? the basics of unionism being taught at TWU training and are not followed in action. He "Fought like hell" and stood up to management taking the risk in order to benefit the members. He was not guarenteed of a positive outcome but he took it to the max and he had success. no one knocks him for his courage to take on the commpany and the government without a guarenteed positive outcome. Is it too much to ask for our union to act like the union leaders they preach about and not act like corporate union leaders taking all they can for themselves without regard to its members?
and yes I am still angry!
What Reps are crying about numbers? I hadn't heard that one.So the TWU knows more? What about the lay off numbers that Tulsa reps are crying about. What else is the company going to do that the TWU promised its members to vote Yes on? The TWU contract gives a whole new meaning to FILL IN THE BLANKS.

So your latest prediction is a term sheet followed by a PEB was the way to go? I know you and Bob know everything, but so far your predictions haven’t turned out for s—t. And you and your AMFA & vote No cronies successfully got the 2010 T/A rejected. We won’t forget who deserves the credit for that brilliant strategy.
Been on afternoons for many years and have kids. Unless The Avengers start doing local news I guess I will stay somewhat in the dark. I'll have to look that one up I missed it. Thanks.HEWITT on television being interviewed. He pleaded for AA to revisit the numbers. You missed it? Everyone else on this board saw it. Unless you are Hewitt.

Yes Mike Quill the founder of the Transport Workers Union in 1934 who served as its president for 30 years was a fighter. But this is no longer 1934 or 1966 and much has changed in favor of companies in trouble through the luxury of bankruptcy. In today's times Chapter 11 bankruptcy trump's or suspends the Railway Labor Act which governs our contract negotiations which encompass the PEB. We were not going to get there, noway , now how. The whole PEB argument to satisfy your anger would have most likely never came to be. Besides, it probably would have only lasted about 3 minutes before the order was given to get back to work. I was ready to put this one to bed and didn't have the will to experience 3 minutes of fame. It's time to move on and build for future negotiations down the road...
