That wasn't AA that said that was UsAir that said if we merged they would keep Tulsa at 90% capacity for 2 years with no layoffs.
do you have that in writing?

I would strongly bet, though, that WN does not automatically get the two gates at DAL but will be able to use them only if no one else wants to.

I seem to recall that JetBlue was really interested in obtaining space during the WA Repeal talks and I'm sure that Virgin America would like to see what's going on there as well.

"Delta welcomes the settlement agreement and looks forward to the opportunity to acquire slots that will be divested under the agreement, particularly at Washington-Reagan National Airport. Delta is the airline best positioned to continue competitive nonstop flights from Reagan National to small- and mid-sized cities that could otherwise see service reduced or eliminated, which should be a strong consideration in the divestiture."

Get ready for the "oh but that was before we had to settle with the DOJ and give up slots. that's another reason why the Unions should have stayed out of this, first off we really didn't get anything from it and now when the layoffs start the carrier will say "Don't blame us, blame the DOJ because they forced us to give up slots, without those slots we don't need as many employees".

I'm sure they (and all other involved carriers) had a few versions ready to go depending on the ultimate outcome...
perhaps I missed them from other carriers and you can post them for me.

Ok but they explained it at the last Union meeting please don't take my word for it call and ask them. You posted something from early 2012 pre merger agreement. That 2 year deal didn't make it into the post merger agreement dated earlier this year. But please don't take my word for it ask your leaders
