WN Mechanics seek mediation

You talk big behind a key board yourself wuss guy. You ARE a wuss man. All you got is calling people names over the net in hiding.

Anyway back on topic.

If AMFA Leaders (SSM&P) don’t let SWA Mechanics vote on something soon they should start a card drive and chuck (SSM$P) out on their asses as fast as they can.
For the last time. Put your big listening ears on now, ok? Are you ready children? There has already been 3 card drives started or tried here since AMFA was able to fire the teamsters. The longest one lasted for a little over 1 week and failed big time. 2 were started by the teamsters going house to house and braking all kinds of laws for organizing, the 3rd one was the TWU which failed the worse of all of them in 2 days after starting. Maybe we should look at the IAM, naaaaw, they were here before and now they are just an asso., maybe we should get the bakers union in here, the weaving baskets union in here, No can't do that they are all the same in one we will just keep our mechanics class union on hand. Card drive, now that's funny weez, shoot we got industrial union supporters here that can't even TRY to do a recall on their ALR, what makes you think they would take the time do anything that would take more work than that, and they admitted so on here, C'mon man...

Now that's funny. Wanna bet???

weez, this is exactly what you do NOT understand. With the help of our NC we (the membership) are steering the ship. The NC is taking the memberships wishes and applying them at the table. It's NOT the NC going on their own (like the teamsters would) and do something behind closed door deals. It's really simple, the company moves or we sit, that's right we sit. We've been at this for over 5 years why throw in the towel now all on scope and other very, very hard fought after protections. Now let me ask you and all AA employees waiting on a new JCBA, is the membership steering your ship? Don't worry I already know they are not and that is one of the biggest reasons not to have one of the industrial unions---period.

Absolutely yes!!!!!!

And until you have a vote on something from the full membership to decide the next direction, you’re steering NOTHING. Right now you’re nothing more than a group of Branch Davidians following your particular Messiah.

And who the hell said you should throw in the towel? Absolutely NOT me. I said you should vote and send the Company a POWERFUL message to shove it up their asses.

But YOU YOU YOU are the one who has NO faith in your fellow Brothers and Sisters to give that message do you. YOU DO NOT TRUST your own membership. You don’t. Do not!!! At all. No faith. Zero.

You don’t have a Union. You have a Law Firm. A group that sucks on your blood like a leech. Seeham Seeham Meltz and Peterson.

That’s your real Masters. And you’re nothing more than their dupes. Their economic cash cows pouring out green milk from your teets.

Not too worried about it. This thread was started because we finally asked for mediation late in the game. We are basically on ice, and we want to sit here and argue about having a t/A to vote on, or continue at little progress. So now we have the road shows to explain why we didn't pursue the med arb, and where we are in 2017, we could've had in 2016. The company's position is going to be if you guys take another 2 years, it's not our fault your union did not accept our offer so don't expect extra retro pay. So basically AMFA will have us on another maybe up to a 2 year pay freeze, a total of maybe 7 years, that you will never get back totally economically, or contract wize. However according to Hackboy and Swamt I am in the wrong for being mad.

Hackman and I have never said you are wrong for being mad. There you go again with the twisting. You are blaming AMFA (just like the company is trying to do) when the company are the ones NOT moving AMFA is done moving it's now the company's turn to show movement. Now go back and read your 2nd sentence, the union filed for mediation after several years of the company not nego in good faith hence the suit.
Now here's what you need to do. Call our NC (all their numbers are on the web site) and tell them directly that you want to so desperately vote on something now! Then get back to me how that goes. They will answer the calls and they will return calls IF you leave a message, so I don't wanna hear any excuses for not contacting them. After you tell them that you want to vote now and that your pissed that they won't let you vote on something, ask them how many other members feel the same as you do. The number will be a very small number of the membership, they know this and this is why they going the direction they are going, to support the memberships wishes. Instead of using all your efforts here bitcing and moaning and doing absolutely nothing about it, try contacting them and expressing your opinion. Get back to me when you find out...

Teamsters at UPS, over 90% approve a strike authorization. Twice have requested release from mediation. Why are they so much bolder than the others?

We and the NC already know the direction, hence no vote required to find the direction. Listen man.

A law firm that one of your union brothers hired to get his job back at AA and did not use the TWU's attorneys, yea brother, that speaks volumes.

No vote. Yea I got EXACTLY what you’re saying. Some Democratic Union you got going on in that house. What a joke.

“ONE” AMFA supporter uses Seeham and that’s supposed to mean something? WTF. What a joke.

Call me when they represent AA. LMFAO 53 years. 8 write in votes at LUS, Lost everyone at NWA. Extinguished their certificate at Delta, got thrown out at UAL and has never gotten a CBA of their own since they got in at SWA.

C’mon man seriously, where’s the prize selling point here?

It was very democratic indeed, you should have been there when they polled the entire membership twice for this contract. You OBVIOUSLY do not know what I am saying. The NC already has what the membership wants, what part of that do you NOT understand. Stop trying twist the verbiage.

The prize selling point is the moron that does not comprehend what one post here... No that's priceless.

How long ago was this swamt? Was the polling 5 years ago? When the polling took place did people realize they would be here 5 years later?

Over FIVE YEARS now swamt.

We’re coming up on two years here at AA if it makes it to December swamt. After awhile I’d be telling my guys enough is enough already too. Let “US” the paying Membership make the next move. I’m not going to say when I’d call BS to my guys cause they’re not there yet. But it absolutely will be long before 5 freakin years man.

We already did at our last local meeting basically were told by our ALR we are to stupid to vote, because they recommend a no vote on the 2009 contract and it passed. The med arb the reason they did not pursue that, is because they felt like it was a free swing for the company, and they would compare our contract to bankrupt contracts from airlines, but if SWA has never been bankrupt, and the other labor groups got a decent deal, there is no reason why we couldn't gotten one. Obviously they don't think AMFA legal team that we paid $316,000 to in 2016, can bring their A game, so you tell me. So now we have to wait for our Road show in Chicago where we are dead last to ask the whole group and not just our ALR. So tell me Swamt if we go to more years, by AMFA choice how do you expect to be made economically whole, when SWA management will tell the negotiating committee, that was our choice. Our Road show isn't till November 6 th and 7th. So like I said you want to cheer, not much to cheer about is there. Case closed.
