You are not kidding YOU NEED to do some more research. Like I have told you time and time again, make the move Driver, start the process for the removal of your ALR or just shut the "F" up.
Per shut The F up, get a clue per AM FA constitution if you are in current negotiations , and Cramer is a negotiating team member, you need 50% of the local membership to sign a petition to remove the ALR, durring active negotiations, which we will be until it is settled or empass, no more negotiations. The 25% rule is when you are not in negotiations. So with that threshold we couldn't remove him, and he knows it.

Well all I know is I got 19 more years to ride the SWA bus, so leave with 43 years thats pretty good, looks like day shift forever, good luck snowflake detectives .

Must say I missed you, you guys get your AMFA cards yet, you guys might have better luck with Parker, the guys on your thread tell me how it can't be done to get them in there. Aw, warm fuzzies. We have had them signed twice at AA with AMFA, but when your fighting a massive corporation that wants the TWu in place, (see 14 years of concessions, and more before that in 1983, and 1995) the corrupt NMB, the TWu and the AFl-Cio, and Reamsters fake AA card drive the last time, not very easy. See AA is about triple the size of SWA, so it's a major undertaking. But explaining it to a simpleton like yourself is really a mute point, and it seems like your late in the game here. I hope you get your money soon, it seems that would make you stop sniveling about waiting a paltry 5 years.

Sounds like you need to try again, if more people are fed up especially with hangars being built in Brazil. If you guys get AMFA not much will change if you have the same people running the show. We are beyond five years, and now basically six or more without a T/ A to consider. You know in your career there are to many variables that can happen waiting that long. We not just me want to see for ourselves and decide for ourselves if this offer is worth it or not. If it's not then shoot it down and fix what is wrong with it. We don't need fake dog and pony road shows telling us why we are to stupid to vote on something. According to people like yourselves that sounds like something the Teamsters would do. Then last year you do surveys and you won't release the results of the survey, sounds like some more Teamsters/ IAM/ TWU B.S. to me, but this is transparent AMFA. Tell me Hackman our your guys Union meetings at American Airlines structured if you guys have multiple meetings the membership can only vote in one meeting on union business , aren't you disenfranchising the membership that show up to those other meetings? Amfa will never be at aa. You know when somebody is defeated when you get a libtard history lesson. The bottom line is the majority over there rejected amfa. Dead people and retired people were on the seniority list is bs. The majority simply rejected amfa.

At least he admitted how the other industrial unions work. And they still will not make the move to start the process to remove their ALR. Just prove they are here to be mouths for the company, stir up the membership etc...
I tried taking him off ignore, but guess I was expecting too much. It is clear that they are here to complain about everything and not do anything about it or get involved. Typical lazy union members that have nothing to do with the union until contract has been in nego's for 5 years and 1 month at not quite 2 weeks. No where near where he claims it is. I will go back to the peace and quiet.
Personally, I don't think they would of gotten 10 or 15% of the membership to sign on with the removal, but not sure. We do hear hear rumblings about him but nothing about removing him until these two clowns showed up here and late in the ballgame at that.
Simple fact is, when the company is ready to get serious and move, that's when we will get something to look at, until then nadda.

But we are the enemy Teamsters lovers.I see the company is taking a $100 million dollar hit in 3rd quarter maybe more. Swamt wonders if the company will use this for a tool. I said that's why you don't wait forever to get a contract done. However the mechanics negotiating our contract are smarter than the company, and we the membership are too stupid to read and vote.

They have no clue what the real history of AMFA is. Even much less what has happened with AMFA at AA over the years.
We will get a better idea after the RS how the membership really feels. Unless we get some new news or a different option to take pretty sure we won't see anything this year at all. We will get a better feel of the company's directions after we meet again as they are (possibly) done with the FMT's and we are the last and final group. I believe in Feb. they start back up nego's with some of our other groups for new rounds of nego's.

30 years ago an old mechanic told me to stay clear of aa. He said it was a nightmare with union politics and disgruntled employees. I see nothing has changed. He worked two years and quit. Glad I took his advise
