Wisconsin

There is no humor in an end around. It's duplicity at best.

It absolutely funny as ####. The Obama administration did this from day one and when people spoke against it we were called racists, etc. Turn around is fair play as they say....

And again, I would ask why someone who claims to be a line F/A-and is therefore labor- would so gleefully advocate against her own interests? I guarantee you it's not going to earn you a place in the gentry.
Theres a difference between labor and organized labor. I choose to have control over my destiny rather then depend on others to choose mine for me.

Nothing to "snort" about. There *are* actually still laws on the books in WI that Walker hasn't gotten around to repealing yet. One of them is the Open Meetings law, which was violated tonight.

Didn't stop the Obama agenda now has it? Let the courts sort it out then.

I would've gone with "two wrongs don't make a right," but I guess that's just me. Besides, I thought the right saw themselves above such things?

That's just it; what happens in one place will eventually affect another.

Ah. Never heard of it...

Let the courts sort it out then.

I suspect that's exactly where it's off to...

Guess you all union haters want to be slaves again. Work for the man, be at his beckon call, use the company script, live in the company town and shop in the company stores.

Let the Pinkertons beat and kill you for trying to stand up to the man.

It is what it is. Was it a bold move? Yes. Either that or lay off thousands because the of the Dems failing to come back and do their job as they were elected. Walker was left with no choice.

That's just it; what happens in one place will eventually affect another.
Umm, not really relevant anymore. I know what you are trying to say but that excuse has worn itself out as they say.

Ah. Never heard of it...
Seriously? I am (kinda) shocked!

 Wow thats some drama there!

Leftists storm Wisconsin capitol building http://bit.ly/hYra7m incredible.

Could someone please point out the footage of Tea Party storming the Capitol after the Obamacare vote? I can't seem to find it.

Did they totally give up collective bargaining rights? What about federal collective bargaining rights???

Pinkerton's aren't into that anymore, Pal.....you living in the past...Now Obama and his DHS carry the weight.

I remain UNIMPRESSED with the actions of EITHER wing of the same Bird of Prey.

This is yet another example of the arrogance of Government. On one hand you have the Republicans exploiting a budget crisis to severely limit the ability for WI government employees to express or negotiate collectively in their own best interests. Ignoring the fact that the testosterone lacking Government refused to stand up and do some hardball negotiating. So at least a portion of the blame for public employees earning what they do falls at those not in the various unions. Management signs EVERY union contract. Can't blame just one side.

The arrogance continues on the other side as the Democrats abdicated their duty to the citizens of WI by fleeing the state in order to thwart the legislative process. Now they will likely follow with some legal actions and their supporters will take to the streets and some will initiate force to make their point.

Students will still be in many cases trapped in inferior schools, Individual citizens will not pay one dime less and the political class in Madison will continue to posture and position themselves for the next election cycle.

Frankly I would pee on any of them if they were on fire. Every single last one should be removed from office via the ballot box

Nationwide, people are tired of unions benefits compared to their own and what it costs them tax wise. Especially with HC. Year of union losses. Take it to the bank.

Walker's had a choice from day 1. Negotiate. He wasn't willing to back of his "dropping of the bomb" (to paraphrase his quote from the infamous prank phone call).

Nothing would make me happier than to be proven wrong. I think time will show I'm on the right side of history here...

Seriously? I am (kinda) shocked!

Believe it.

Storm? Really?

Hey, at least Walker and Fox can't try and claim that these people tonight are all from out of state...

No one's giving up anything; it's being wrested from them.

Using creative means to represent their constituencies wishes and "abdicating their duty" or 2 wholly separate things.

And the union stand informed and focused the country on public sector unions and what it now costs Joe Public.

Win win for the unions......

You call me a liberal like that somehow diminishes my opinion. As a card carrying member of the Libertarian Party and can tell you that no tells me what to write or how to think. You may label me but to do so is to destroy your own credibility.

From the Libertarian Party Platform regarding Labor:

2.7 Labor Markets

We support repeal of all laws which impede the ability of any person to find employment. We oppose government-fostered forced retirement. We support the right of free persons to associate or not associate in labor unions, and an employer should have the right to recognize or refuse to recognize a union. We oppose government interference in bargaining, such as compulsory arbitration or imposing an obligation to bargain.

Right, just like Bill Maher says he is one of you as well. Looks like duck, quacks like a duck...
