I wouldn't be comfortable with any of those you listed. Carson gets points for being a learned man. Huckabee gets (begrudging) credit for at least being a man of convictions. Cruz is fun to point & laugh at. Walker's not very bright, and pliable. That, IMo, makes him both dangerous and wholly out of his,league...

The only thing the government can do is try to offer incentives to spur job growth.

I agree with you, but perhaps the jobs that the government can create are in the government or public sector. This would be a dilemma as governments on all levels are cutting jobs, or creating jobs with less or harder to get benefits.

If Walker were guilty of not creating jobs in the Public Sector, it might be a double-edge sword since you're trying to cut government cost, but have promised to create jobs. So governments can create jobs by outsourcing like airlines and that takes time due to the bidding process and fiscal year budgets.

This is why figures lie. What may appear like a normal year failure may be a fiscal year success. Most Governments fiscal year goes from April 1 to March 31. This would juggle the amount from perceived to actual yearly results.

Hell might freeze over, but I agree with you regarding Carson. We need an executive who is interested in managing and leading. What we don't need is someone just seeking power for the sake of seeking power, nor do we need someone who can just speak to one or two issues and be clueless on the rest.

That's where I see Paul, Christie and Walker being more suited for the office than anyone else in the running on the GOP side. Huckabee and Carson are probably better suited for hosting TV shows than for politics.

What you have here is proof that education and intelligence in a certain field, may make you ignorant in another. He may be a great neurosurgeon, but he sucks as a politician. Lets say that Carson is to politics what Paris Hilton is to acting and talent.
