i will vote yes on work rule changes. (INCLUDING FARMING OUT AIRBUSES HEAVY MAINTENANCE)

JUST MY OPINION/VOTE.

The I.A.M. contract, as grievice as it is, is more than sufficient for the company to make a profit, and is the bare minimum income we choose to recieve.

Since farming out the Airbus maintenance would result in the laying off of seventy percent of the I.A.M. membership on property, I would doubt that seventy percent of the membership would vote for themselves to be laid off.

amt4u must believe himself to be one of the senior thirty percent. He also must be an adherant of the ALPA school of unionism.

sounds like you are nothing more than a management dude that just wants to get rid of as many IAM employees as you can simply because you cant stand the fact that the IAM has stood up to you and you dont know how to handle that! may be if you listened to everything the IAM has told you then we would be making money and saving money where we should be saving!

I am a CWA person.... I voted no and as it stands right now, that will continue to be my answer however I will entertain and listen to the proposal, however it better impress me right off the bat and their had better be snapbacks.... cause if there is not.... the vote won't change..... maybe we should have had another choice of "CWA Maybe"

Ah, is that voting place for IAM-F/S or IAM-M or both? If it's both.... there are gonna be some very upset people in IAM-M being put with lowly F/S people... even for a poll vote that doesn't mean anything... IAM-M only know F/S agents when they want our support! (...as in we are gonna walk, you will support us... right?)

One thing Dave said that is true, it's better to be looking for a job when you have one. I am not implying you should vote yes, but look around the industry. Realistically, what do you think will be available to you in this industry, or any industry for that matter, if U fails, and if it fails if the unions decide to "full pay til the last day"? Who do you think is gonna hire anyone from a company where that happened? You might be better off making the best of what you have, or will have. If you have a backup career or income, good for you, but I bet the majority of U employees are clinging to the hope that this will all turn out OK. I hope for everyones sake they are right......

As it would be impossible to conduct a poll with all possible scenarios, what I wanted to do was breakdown by labor groups the percent of employes that are deadfast in status quo and would no vote for any changes no matter what. That would be a no vote any others would be yes.

Sorry for leaving TWU or any other labor groups out

NO! Why make another agreement for concession when our jobs have been stolen and sent to a foreign company who recruits workers from out of the USA! Simply put I do not trust them!

What's interesting is that this poll has been open for two days and only 75 people have voted and some of the voters are likely furloughed. These numbers are hardly representative of the rank-and-file sentiment.

Respectfully,
