It may be more scared than biased...one only needs an attorney to cover your behind should a question arise that will put you in a bad position. The attorney is to prevent Ward from getting "hurt." This must be rather worisome and embarassing to faithful Ward supporters.
Had to know Ted would bow out. Poor boy couldnt find his way out of a paper bag, let alone anwser actual question son his record and abilities to handle the job of VP for the APFA members.
Perhaps someone can shed light on why they would put a VP on their slate that appears to not have the "right stuff." In elections, the VP often has something to offer that the candidate for President does not. The idea being to attract voters who might be ambivalent about the President will be attracted to the "slate." A weak VP candidate suggests that the Presidential candidate cannot stand the competition.
Maybe the reason for Ted - is that he would not be a challenge to control. He would go along with "the pack". He wouldn't "rock the boat" - like Jeff - that set the membership straight on the workings of Ward.
Several weeks ago - I sent an email to Ward telling him I thought he was "chicken" to debate Tommy.
I received an email back - stating as soon as there is a "SECURED" location - they would announce a date for the debate. Secured???? Is he afraid someone will go "postal"?
I would put money on the fact that in the end something will come up and JWs lawyer will be left to answer for him. The majority of the answers will be, I dont know or I cannot answer that. JW will not show, he is proven the kind of man and leader he is over and over. I pity the poor saps who cant see through is crap, and those who believe that Tommie has some power to change or even wants to change seniority. At least JW found something to run on lies and fear, its a proven record time and time again.
Aside from the seniority issue Mikey, I have to assume other AAers have feeling about Ward similar to yours. He seems to have split the membership pretty wildly with one group having very antagonistic feelings and the other group attached to him like a chigger.
