Well, I just ordered my winter leather jacket - pretty expensive - which means that a merger will be announced sometime this year.

Maybe you choked on your tea from getting your information from The Fake News Channel. C-Span actually had information that linked John McCain to ACORN as well. And , both Ayres and Obama worked for the Annenberg Foundation together that was the affiliation with each other. It has been documented from C-Span that Obama is far more truthful and ethical than McCain. You can listen to McCain's running mate's ranting( she's simply a female version of "W") all you care to, that's your perogative. Look at the big picture, are you better off than you were 8yrs ago? Are you going to be better off with a platform that favors taxing your healthcare benefits, privatizing social securiity, and more deregulation of business which won't self regulate itself because of it's greed, and lack of ethics?

McCain is a war hero who put his life on the line and served his country well. Obama has questionable affiliations and no record of note. . .

well then... if a democrat wins,- US Airways will be forced to merge during bankruptcy, the employees will go through another a culture transition and the "talent " pool will wallk away with billions, a pension and healthcare coverage.
If a republican wins, US Airways wiill be sold off in pieces in bankruptcy, the employess will be left with nothing, and the "talent" pool"will walk away with billions, a pension and health care coverage

Can I explain ACORN? I don't need to explain it, and YES I do have an "idea" of what is going on.

Back on topic, it appears that US is trying to negotiate the repayment of $400 million of the Citi $1.6 billion loan in exchange for lowering the "cash" on hand requirement by $375 million. Apparently Citi package the loan and sold it to various investors, some of who aren't keen on the idea.
