What's With AWA F/A's writting people up?

Poor baby can't get along with others. I used to do what you have to put up with Mr. PO. You get out what put into each situation in life. Hard lessons are learned all the time. Try to channel the negative towards something positive and you'd be amazed at what you can do. If not, you know where you can put it. I hope the FA's figure out who you are at PHX so they can pile on while your working.

We kind of have the same thing, once we hit our 40 hours a week no extra pay. If you stay to finish things, you start wracking up "comp" time, basically working for free but they keep track of it for us. The idea is that its banked time, in case of an unplanned emergency. But you're not supposed to accumulate more than 16 hours of it, I'm well over that right now because it's so darn hard to try and use it. You can't just use it to take a half day off.
You should have the option to get time and half (1 ½) aren’t you cover under the CWA contact

Nope, believe it or not there are those of us here who aren't covered by a contract. Time and a half is only available when it is authorized by the higher ups, so you know how often that happens.

Contact CWA leadership and tell them you are performing passengers/customer service work and you want a voice in your work conditions

I was just having the discussion of flight attendants writing up each other on my last trip. What I find amazing, astonishing actually is in MOST cases the f/a writing up or crew writing up the f/a won't address it one on one. They have the man berries to take the time and write them up but won't MOST TIMES have a discussion about the problem while working. I know there are those on this board that "would tell them" but we know as past experience will dictate that it's NOT the case. So anyway, STOP writing people up unless it's something seriously endangering your or your fellow passengers lives, or SERIOUSLY interfering with the job. Honestly, don't we have enough to worry about with out of touch management and an inept MEC?
All you Westies listen up!! DO NOT WRITE UP FLIGHT ATTENDANTS!!! This goes for the "New hires" on campus! You are on probation, do not draw attention to yourselves.. Settle it with the fa's or go to AFA for help. Stop the nonsense. We all need to support eachother. Thank you!! :D

Well you know, training department and management tells them to write up any irregularities and safety issues. I can understand writing irregularities about catering issues etc. because they won't be fix unless it's brought to managements attention, but writing up crews is a no-no. I was deadheading on this one flight one time and this new flight attendant got upset with the pilot that was joking around with her in the exit row. She didn't think it was funny and she wanted to write him up for joking around with her during her exit row briefing. I told her not to do it or she would be blacklisted and get a reputation fast. Hopefully she didn't.
