What's the word on the equity?

Looking for recent or soon to be retiree from IL/CA who took early out package and feels they should get share of equity. Text to 817 845 5736.

There is one really vocal guy out in LAS, Day shift crew chief. He has been writing letters to everyone complaining about how he is entitled to both. Look him up.

Is he a AMT-CC or a FSC-cc?
So what are you going to do? ------ Linch him for speaking out on what he believes? He may be right, or wrong, but he still has the right of free speech on the subject. Or have we all come to a point where that don't matter anymore?

MCI, You know what happens in Vegas......Stays in Vegas.. ;)

MCI, if you go bak and read, a reference was made about a crew chief on the day shift. So the question was asked, fleet or amt in attempt to determine who it may be. Makes it easier to find him.

A poster is looking for support in a possible law suit against the TWU and this Vegas guy came up.

Ok up to this point, was going to keep my mouth shut. But! I too am very vocal. As far as all those who took the E.O., I they shouldn’t get jack "dodo"! But if they were to be compensated, it should be for the higher medical cost for the time they were on payroll in that magical time period.

I happen to agree with you Bob. MCI just likes having that "stirrer" within arms length, if you know what I mean. At least within arms length of the hammock!

AANOTOK, ------ I just got back to MCI. had to put the hammock up, and secure my place in the sun for the Hurricane Season, That also means putting up the "stirrer". I retired in 2008, after 40 years dealing with this Industry. I've done my thing.-----Now, my wife and I have enough to keep my old pickup in gas, and a place to warm our old bones in the winter. We're both on Medicare, with AA as our secondary. As are all AA retirees over 65. But, I fear, not for long! Do I feel these retirees have a stake in the equity? Some may! Some may not!------- Personally, I don't expect anything out of this except another screwing over the Medical!

I feel that AA has an obligation to the retirees, we don't.
How often has the company screwed us by throwing something to people who are leaving to sway the vote?
That said retirees fulfilled their part of the agreement and Prefunded their retiree medical, so they are entitled to something based upon what the value of what they would be losing is. Our equity stake has nothing to do with their claim so any settlement of their claim should have nothing to do with our equity stake.

Agreed! But have you ever thought that what the retirees might want, and deserved, is what was promised to us, and paid for by us, is "coverage", not compensation?
