First - my apologies to some of you - this certainly doesn't apply to everyone on this board. But unfortunately, it does apply to many.

What a sad group of people you have become. You are the picture of the definition of stupid - "doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result". All you do is whine and complain - whine and complain - whine and complain - and expect something new and different to happen because of it. You hated Wolf/Gangwal - they are gone - now you hate Doug. I guess the old saying of be careful what you wish for really applies in this case!


And while the new Mgt. may have their issues - bottom line is you all wouldn't have a job to complain about if it wasnt' for them because the airline would have been liquidated. So I fail to understand what you expect? They bought a company that was about to disappear from the map.

The most interesting thing is that so many on this board are so quick to attack when someone doesn't agree with them and basically brings up a different point of view. "He doesn't know what he is talking about" - guess I'm just a big old liar then.

How dare someone question our misery! We have been terribly wronged - and we want everyone else - including the customers - to know that and suffer because of it. Blows my mind!

We all make our own destiny - and those of you who complain the most have no one to blame but yourselves for staying at a company you hate. Get out - get a new career - I did it before - it certainly is better than staying in a job you hate at a company you are trying to sink. Oh but I forgot - then you wouldn't have anything to complain about - so you really wouldn't be happy afterall would you?

And you are certainly entitled to your opinion. Many, many people in this world feel better when they are demeaning or belittling others. Feel better? :lol:
 
Well here goes my opion...You dont have to keep clicking on this web site if you are sick of the whining and complaining...and what you call complaining I call venting...this is where US employees go to communicate with each other from other stations....

As to the company was sunk without this pathetic mgmnt well how do you know??Do you have a crystal ball or esp???We made it out of 1 bk and we probably would have made it out a second.You just cant say for sure...I choose to believe we would have as a stand alone carrier.

And as to "just leave if you hate the company..well some of us are between a rock and a hard place...I cant afford to leave..some of dont have a college degree and signed on with the company in the good times..now tell me where I can go and make $16 or $17 an hour to start out...I cant afford to start at the bottom again...I have a mortgage and kids to feed...so please save your condesending attitude unless you are offering me a job!!!!!

the very "whining and complaining" that offends your rosey sensibilities (which, however, taint reality), prevented 90 people from having their lives uprooted. most likely, again.
you may want to reframe your definition of "stupid" and apply it to the management team you struggle so hard to defend.

Who are you , and what bussiness do you have here? This is not your fight , so mind your bussiness and shut your pile whole , if there is one thing i can't stand it's outsiders trying to tell US how we should live our lives , this is US airways not YOU airways , and you ain't US baby .

For all we know you may be from an anti union busting firm hired to start putting the nix on our aspirations .I mean read that guys post he WANTS people to quit , and that's what the company WANTS .... how coidencial ...

You know I have been reading your posts over the last couple of days and have stayed quiet, but this is enough. I'd like to know where you get off making judgements about people that you DO NOT even know? Are you aware that there was at one time 50,000+ employees of the "former" US Airways and now as a combined company there are somewhere around 35,000? Do you have any idea what that has done to the past and present employees that have had to watch our friends disappear, all the while we are making much less money, working 3 times as hard and to top it off, putting up with people like you. I'm willing to do the first two (make less money and work harder) if it means there is light at the end of the tunnel and there is a chance to recoup some of the losses but I REFUSE to let someone like you stand up and make judgements about people that I consider my family "for better or worse". The people of US Airways (AWA included) have had to endure more in their careers than you could possibly handle in one day so do not sit there and tell ANYONE who, what, when, or how they feel because they do not BUTT IN to your family life and tell you what they perceive or how you should treat your loved ones. If you want to sit there and preach to the US employees about how other airline employees treat each other then you better know what you are talking about and I assure you that you do NOT. I have a family member who works for United and promise you the same stuff goes on there. At AA, the same thing and I've seen it first hand (on a 767 from ORD-MAN no less), at NW the "Red Tails" and the Republic/AirWest still with their differences. If you want to fly UA then go ahead, but I promise once you start on them you're gonna get it right back.

If you have taken three paycuts, sicktime, vacation time and many other benefit cuts and the loss of your job and pension, maybe you would understand.

The post is actually quite humorous/accurate if you replace "passenger" with "employee".

Unfortunetly at this time this airline is, for most of us here, our life. But the passengers that come on here and post numerous times a day with blow by blow statements of there usairways travels, begs me to think, don't you have a life? Dude, you need to at least get a hobby! Or even a puppy.....

Now this is not only nonfact, but delusional...from a koolaid drinker no less.

You need to read some industry history on U and AWA, specifically 2005. Education tends to give one a more "macro" perspective.

I'll type this r-e-a-l s-l-o-w-l-y for you.

Training for those agents who havent been trained on the new system.

No offshore rez. If that isnt going to happen, training on how to use the system and what our policies and procedures are. I'm tired (yes I'm complaining again) of them doing stupid things that make absolutely no sense and have never been policy. No pet fees? No baggage weight limit? Canx an entire FC roundtrip ticket? And this was just this week!

A system that works. (At this point I'd even take one that works more than 50% of the time. Pretty pathetic huh?) Money is just walking out the door because of it and the lack of training/understanding of it from many agents. Had another "freebie" flight down tonight at about $600. Think this is going to hit the bottom line?

Staffing help. (1 agent for 12 kiosks while having to deal with the computer issues is NOT adequate).

Customers to quit yelling at me for others mistakes and shortcomings. I dont unload bags so I dont know when they will arrive here, I didnt canx your reservation, I cant get anyone else to come out to the counter to work the line because there is no one else, I dont know why rez told you that, I dont know how you got down here without a ticket, but you have to buy one to go back, there is a weight limit and you're over it (and so am I!!!!)..... its never ending any more.

Management had better get some serious s&*t together and real soon or this place is going to implode with the force of an A bomb! :down: My only hope is that someone in DC gets screwed and Dougie gets to sit on the hot seat again and answer as to why we run such a sh*t operation now.

After 40 hours of this cr&p a week, would you rather many of us take it out on the people in front of us or on the phone with us, or here where you can just skip to the next thread if you cant stand the bitching? Many of us dont have the option during our day to just click to the next thread if you cant take it. B)

Its not the company we hate,Its the company they keep.Wich is the same company as the old company,that screwed up both company's.That caused the forming of this company.That is being screwed up again by the company they kept in the former company's.

In other words ( paper tiger ).... :(

As for loyalty to each other,sure we argue,but its not blood bath.Look at as a somtimes disfuntional family.But its our family

If the product you got was what the thousands of years of front line experiance on this board would like to give you.
You would be impressed.
