All this poll shows at this point is that this forum is dominated by amfa supporters and not a true sample of the floor at TULE.

Or anywhere else for that matter. If amfa was as strong as is suggested by this poll, why then are they such an underfunded minuscule bargaining unit?

You raised a very good point Rice, I agree.

Underfunded miniscule bargaining unit?

You mean like the twu who had all their legal fees for negotiations paid for by the company? That type of underfunded, miniscule bargaining unit?

There are tens of thousands of reasons to dump the TWU. Being reimbursed by the estate for fees related to bankruptcy ain't one of them

Following yesterday's developments, it is becoming more and more apparent that we were mislead by the TWU on certain things.
The big one was that we were told the judge would either accept or deny a request to abrogae it in its ENTIRETY..

Here we are looking at a ruling based on TWO specific provisions.

I'm looking for some informed opinions on the IAM. I mean they have Boeing right? Why no interest in them?

IIAM a little better than the TWU..
But for me, I prefer a mechanics only union, even if we have to start one of our own.

Obviously, our careers have been allowed to be decimated by a union who only cares about dues.
The "strength in numbers" philosophy as been no more a success than the "We all pay the same for a loaf of bread" socialist philosphy.

I always felt a mechanic is a mechanic is a mechanic no matter what or where they work.

But the Tulsa YES voting contigency has sadly forced me say I can't wait until they are the minority so we can just rid ourselves of the TWU.
They have helped us to the bottom of the industry. If they continue to represent us, they will help dig us deeper below bottom. As long as the TWU heirarchy get their huge salaries and free psoitve space travel for them and their families, they are perfectly content with keeping us down.

Boeing's competition is Airbus. Boeing needs to get their product out if not Airbus will.
No reason not to be with the IAM if you work for Boeing.
