transitional agreement isn't a new contract per se.

but if you read the transistion agreement that is on the afa website it states under article 4, i believe that with in 30 days of the final transition company will furnish certain financials and with in 60 both side will convene to negotiate a new cba
 
Mechanic and Related after being laid-off for five consecutive years goes back to step one on the pay scale.

Since concession #3, after 90 days on furlough, IAM fleet starts as "new hire" seniority from my understanding.
