Utility

IF they can pull this one off, maybe they can get the Outsourced Stations back too.........
Good luck with either of these things happening..... :(

I am hearing talk that the IAM may be going to try to get utility back. Yes, no, maybe ? Is there any truth to this & what have you heard?
Well, if they do it the way they got a lot of outside maint done (have usairways techs be paid near botom wages) then bring the work back!!!! Seems like a company/union agreement. So yes they probably will get utility down to about $ 8.00 per hour and all the sudden they will be welcomed back, oh yeah IAM (scab union) will get ther dues!!!!

Do I still get my $2.00 more for my licenses for the responsibilities I sign for?????

Brown, go read the contact, wage rates for Utility are in the contract and guaranteed.

if so this sure will screw up a certain union groups plans...
You are correct Big Daddy, The company would love to see the IAM represent the techs etc. They know they just have to give a million bucks, let the IAM gurus meet in Hawaii for a few rounds of golf and if need be VOTE TWICE!!!

You mean Contract?? I also remember working for USAirways for about 17 years and had a guaranteed contract, need I go further???

Unless US goes back into bankruptcy, they must adhere to the wage rates in the CBA, is that too hard to understand?

Better go work on that memory, US filed bankruptcy the first time in August of 2002, concessions were not voted on till September of 2002, so US was in bankruptcy when we gave two rounds of concessions in the August 2002 Chapter 11 filing. The other round was given in Jan/Feb of 2003. On the day US filed bankruptcy in the first case they threw their contract offer to the Negotiating Committee and we voted on it.

I hope you were looking in the mirror when you posted #1 and #2, as once again I am correct and you are not.

But hey, don't let the facts get in your way!
