Where did Kirby ever get that idea, from you? Rhetoric is free, no one really knows because there hasn't been anything to vote upon, and there likely won't be any(other than this USAPA deal) for quite some time. Whatever, I've never made much money so this is just more of the same for me.

There's an apparent perception out west that baffles me, and I'd honestly, without any sarcastic tone meant, appreciate any/all input so as to reduce my bewilderment.

Question: Would you honestly EVER expect some/any "great contract" arising out of Alpo negotiations? If so; may I ask why you think so?...seriously....why?. There's certainly no historical basis for the assumption whatsoever. Your west Alpo clowns already babble about in terms of "the economic window closing"...and Lord knows that the Alpo idiots we've here out east haven't done squat for us. Where, from what group of dedicated Alpo "geniuses/warriors/negotiators" is any even half decent contract supposedly going to come from hereabouts?

Yes it is.

How many cards did USAPA have before 5/3/07?

Did they even exist?

USAPA is about nothing more than dumping the Nicolau decision and disenfranchising the west pilots.

As I have said in the past, over and over, there has always been a group of people here waiting for the right event, the right moment in history to see ALPA removed. For each mistake, blunder and outright egregious behavior by ALPA only brought more converts. Here we are at this time, with all things in place. We only needed the single most unifying issue to rear its ugly head.

I don't want to disenfranchise you, but if you want to continue your support for ALPA then that is your choice. More importantly that is where we will always differ. If you want to rely on ALPA, go ahead, if the next event differs from the almighty Herndon's wishes then you can expect to be dumped on for the sake of the mother ship.

You are of course incorrect; I was one of 1500 who signed a petition to oust ALPA back in 1992. We have been trying to get this outfit off our property for 15 years.

Geez I forgot all about that. Thanks for reminding me!!

Did someone past KMEM just blink---reference the two MEC's meeting in DEN----if you have the biggest lottery ticket in your life in your hot little hand----why meet to start process giving it away-----IF---->your just the least bit afraid something might take it away from you---just trying to figure this out !

Actually I don't expect a "great contract" from anyone, including USAPA. This management states publicly that they have put forth a real, credible offer(barf) that increases their operating cost by $122 million. Yea, 148 bucks for a narrowbody pay rate? Uh huh.

We are in for a long ride no matter what. Believe it or not, no one out west believes(well almost no one) that if hypothetically the nic is turned in tommorrow, the east is good with it, and we are united that a good contract is anywhere near. After all we are dealing with Duigie and Zoomie, we all know that. We've been stroked along for years on end before, with not alot to show for it.

I sure hope no one in the east thinks USAPA is going to get anything close to your old lives back from this bunch. I know you will disagree with me here, but I still think ALPA is best.

I'm still waiting for someone to tell me when the election takes place, which list will the company submit for verification?

OK...That first makes for yet more confusion on my part as to why "ALPA is best".

Election? When the NMB notifies you. But if you're looking for a timetable you can go call them. If you want a guess from the boards here? The election might take place as early as January.

List? Whichever list the NMB asks for. Could be east, west or both. We do have cards from west pilots that must be verified. Don't get too wrapped up with the SBU designation. That will all be determined by the NMB and on their timetable from here on out.

Well USAPA has no plan at all. USAPA will end up bankrupt. I guess if you guys are dead set on delay, USAPA will get you the most mileage.

Not to mention the little fact that USAPA wants to completely disenfranchise me and the west, that doesn't exactly endear them to me.

Hey EastUS, what happened to our favorite soothsayer AWA320? Didnt she or he say we did not have enough cards? Something about inside information. I thought the ALPO big boys were going to take over and shove a contract up our a$$. AWA320 knew somebody with all the inside scoop, what gives? The girls and boys on the ALPO website are pi$$ing their pants mad at us eastholes. Whatever happened to that tic toc crap? Yes ,Westoffs I can live with LOA93. I guess we wont be your "gear ####" anytime soon. Where are all the smart a$$ Westoffs at? With the price of oil you Westoffs might have LOA93 shoved up yours.

Can you point me to where it says that USAPA wants to "... completely disenfranchise me and the west, ..."? I cannot find any part where that exists. In fact, I can find no USAPA supporter that wants to take any westies job.

The easties have all been screaming for "conditions and restrictions", to protect the westies jobs, something you may wish to consider and ponder over.

If you cannot find evidence to support your position, then please stop with the BS.

Well you guys aren't gonna be dumb enough to come right out and say it now, are you? If it ever gets the far, I'm sure it'll be part of the endless litigation.

Why don't you dispense with the bs that you are all inclusive? Lip service doesn't count.

Yes we do have a plan. If you choose, you can send your questions to the USAPA leadership. The link is on the website.

No we won't be bankrupt. I know all about the lawsuits. Really, in every effort such as this lawsuits always happen. So do you really think we will not be pro-active?

3000+ SIGNED CARDS DOES NOT EQUAL 3000+ VOTES FOR USAPA.

Let's get this vote over with. I am not a ALPA National flag waver, but ALPA is the quickest route to the next contract. If USAPA gets voted in as new representation, expect a couple of YEARS to pass before you get your next contract!!

Do you suppose that if the NMB fails to allow for a vote (for whatever reason), that those parties involved will put up the same fuss as for BINDING ARBITRATION?? Just a thought.

Just in case someone would like to submit a card for USAPA it can still be done with complete secrecy.

A person can send his card to:

National Mediation Board

Office of Legal Affairs

Re: NMB file No. CR-6926

1301 K. Street, N.W., Suite 250 East

Washington, DC 20005

The NMB will keep accepting cards to this case number until 4:00pm on the date the company submits the voting list.

By this method, no-one will know if you submit a card. Not the "other guys", not ALPA, or the company. The NMB is reqiuired by law to keep all cards secret. The fax requesting the voting list has just been sent so a FedEx to the above address would be the most reliable method to ensure delivery in a prompt manner.
