Sorry to disappoint you, but, the company has to accept whatever the union presents. The company has a DOH list in their hand, superseding whatever was barfed up upon Mr. Parker's desk from the last union. I doubt even he wants that last nic "list", fraught with so much potential liability as it is, representing a real black hole for any merger "negotiations".

Where do you get this stuff? The company has the Nic list and I have a copy of the letter Parker signed accepting it. When the dust is settled on the declaratory judgement we will finally move on as it is highly doubtful that a court will allow the company to breach its contract.

Just for the record.....last week my European trip was cancelled due to maintenance after a 3 hr delay.

Last night, my European flight was delayed 3 hrs due to maintenance. Don't get me wrong...not due to mechanics, but due to maintenance, which is a management function.

Who gets the shrinking fleet that US brought to the show? Who gets the planes added by neither pre-merger company since the merger? Who gets the furloughees brought to the show?

Seems to me that West got the shrinking fleet and furloughees that East brought to the show while East got the added planes and newhires. And now you want a fence to enforce that? Sounds like "We want what we had plus what we got after the merger while you don't get what you had but only what's left of that."

This has nothing to do with the NIC......it is about the current bonus program for management and trying to push the airline in the area of safety in order to attain that goal.

The ONLY thing standing up for what is right is the Capt's authority, and you guys in the West have totally forgotten that you are professional pilots, criticizing the East pilots for doing what is right, while we are using the only power they have for fighting this kind of greed.

I disagree, the Nic is why you created USAPA and USAPA seems only focused on the Nic. This whole safety thing appears to only be a means to pressure the company into a new contract with DOH. We're not stupid, neither is Parker or apparently the courts in this case.

Being a PROFESSIONAL pilot I am disgusted with USAPA. Safety is not a bargaining tool and they are jeopardizing Captain's authority with this cr@p. I could understand USAPA being against the Nic and how the junior east pilots that were never furloughed felt shafted. I can't understand or support USAPAs recent actions. They are making enemies of people that were previously on the fence.
