Anyone know when the first "recall" notices for FAs at MAA go out? If class is in August, how much notice are they giving? And does anyone have the slightest clue where it will be based/crew bases? Thanks!

As I understand it, the training for MDA is now pushed back to Oct. with the first aircrafts coming in Nov. As for the where it will be based, It will be in Pittsburgh unless Pittsburgh finally tells US Airways to go pound salt. I''ve only heard of Pittsburgh as the crew base with no mention of anywhere else. This doesn''t mean there won''t be down the line. I will let you know WHEN they change the month again. Just don''t hold your breath...
Not to discourage you, but you do know that those holding a line on mainline can bid to go to MDA. If you are trying to get to PIT that could be bad. If you are not, you could possibly get a spot on mainline when more senior people bid MDA to be back in PIT. ---------

Thoes at mainline holding a block can bid for MDA to hold Pit!!! (To make sure little bobby is sent off to school safely; thats totally understandable) But if thats true, thats like finding a turd in your fishtank. I think i''m going to sharpin the blades on my mower now. My neighbor''s grass needs cut.
