US Airways has no plans to put more money into the Flight Attendant Agreement

Fair enough, sparrowhawk. If thats the case then shame on all of them for setting her up. I have no doubt that teddy was dedicated to helping flight attendants. no doubt what-so-ever. i just think when one portrays themselves as something and reality is different then don't try and impact my paycheck by encouraging people to vote down real raises and oppose a merger that may provide job security.

Without permission of the parties who would know all I'll add is Ms Xidas was set up by Mr Glass with inside help from some within AFA.

I get that you feel you are in the know . That being said , if you can't bring it up then don't even post about it. The point is this , she now is advocating a strike that won't ever happen. She knows this and so do the FA's who STILL work here. We need to move forward but can't. The past is past over done !!!! Most could ( as you say) give at rats arse what she says or post now. It astounds me how you post what an advocate for the FA's you are, yet post making fun of us and take jabs at us. that is where you lose credibility. The one FA that has your ear is her opinion only ! So while you and teddy have fun reminiscing of day gone by , we will work hard under the BK contract we are stuck with. Have fun patting each other on the back . Again did you read our TA and understand it to form an opinion ? Listing to a few opinions does not make it fact. Teddy has been gone for years and she should start yet another blog about her hate for a management team she no longer works for.

Best wishes

The PIT LEC office was closed on November 30, 2005.

And the mec office was in pit til it closed and also served as the lec office. After the base closed the mec office was moved to clt. MG was the pres of pit til it closed and the whole lec used the mec office.

She was set up my Mike Flores and Gerry Glass, she didnt take what was offered to her and she never would. And I am in the know.

You are correct. The base f/a/ population decreased to less than 500, so it just didn't make financial sense to remain open. MG worked out of his home office until the base closed sometime in 2008.

I'm totally believing that happened now. Wondering why she did not go to Afa or the news with what Jerry Glass offered.

Because you can't unring a bell. The damage was done and no amount of statements to the contrary would convince 100% of the membership. Hell just use here as a sample and these F/A's should know.

What went on, and presumably continues to go on within the AFA doesn't differ much with other unions at US.

...the worst case scenario is they do a deal and try to undo that deal if a merger takes place,...

Yeah, you mean the deal from the current DOUBLE BANKRUPTCY contract (which pITTbULL presided over) that we have now?

You have got to be joking!

That's dealing from a position of strength?

Let's just go from TWO BANKRUPTCY contracts to a THIRD BANKRUPT contract.

No wonder you don't sell copy machines anymore.

Thanks for all the input from someone who has NO money on the line.

Thanks for costing my household $8000,00. SO FAR.

Are you going to make us whole?

The 49.9% want to know.

MM!

If all that matters to you is WIIFM (What's In It For Me) i'd gently submit to you that a Union Job is not for you. It's called Collective Bargaining for a reason. All we hear from you is non stop spewage about how much you lost.

You're in a union and your opinion is in the minority now. Tough S&*T for you. Am I correct in the assumption you do not have a gun to your head forcing you to stay?

Ever pondered where you'd be if US went belly up instead of Teddy getting you as much as she could? US Airways lived long enough to merge and Teddy got IMO the best deal of any of the work groups.

Funny thing is I've observed people like you for years. Never happy always whinning with the poor me BS. Membeship in a Union means you can run for office if you don't like what you see. But that would mean you'd have to stop whining and bitching.

I'm going to go out on a limb here, and say that I think that the CWA Csa group got the best deal. Their scope on the outsourcing of stations, and their partial snap-backs alone put them far ahead of the others. Add to that the fact that they actually got some Res jobs brought back in house recently. Thier contract makes the IAM fleet one look like a coloring book.
