US AIRWAYS FA's approve CONTRACT

Have been spammed by the CLT candidates lately.

Hopefully CC, who was the single biggest impediment to getting F/As an improved contract, will get the boot.

Haven't heard from pITTbUTT's protege the nut job SU.

CLT can do better than both of these obstructionists.

Going into talks with APFA we can't afford to have crazies screwing things up AGAIN.

From CC's spam letter: " Availability, Transparency, Consistency and Communication to the membership are all extremely important to me..."

This coming from CC, who when told that some of CLT's "best and brightest" didn't know who she was.

CC replied..."good". Now that is leadership!

The only person CC should NOT lose to is pITTbUTT's protege / nut job SU.

CC, the person who was the single biggest impediment to getting the F/As a better contract. Time and time again.

CC needs to go.

MM!

Maybe it would be better to let SU win because APFA would have such an easy time showing how much of a nut job she is that all the geniuses in CLT would be just along for the ride.

CC should lose to SU because APFA doesn't have to go through the whiny "I need to have the pilots sign me in" craziness.

SU would be so obviously crazy she would be ignored.

Just in case SU / nut job doesn't win then CC should not be representing AFA.

CC is the is the single person most responsible for the F/As losing out on millions of dollars.

CC needs to start her OWN union where she is elected forever.

CC is obviously out of touch with what F/As want.

Why should she represent AFA?

CC did everything she could to oppose AFA in the last T/A and lost badly in the last T/A vote.

CC is out of touch and needs to lose.

GO nut job SU! Beat CC!

CC needs to go.

Go nut job SU!

I post to myself on an internet forum but it's other people that are nutjobs.

I cannot organize my thoughts.

They dribble from brain as I desperately try to sort them by tapping ENTER twice.

I write my posts like poetry.

Except poetry doesn't suck.

I talk in cryptic acronyms.

My padded cell has wifi.

No one understands me.

I am obsessed with CC.

CC let me smell your hair.

CC...

CC SU AFA TA CC SU APFA CLT....

CC..

MM!

LOL

I dont like to call people names, but we must name him TVI since he uses acronyms "The Village Idiot"

Sorry, I might get struck by lightning tomorrow for this... But its tough to spar with TVI!

I post to myself on an internet forum ...

Apparently not.

I see the NO voters are enjoying themselves.

I hope they will also enjoy their raise and signing bonus.

What charity will you be donating to with all that extra money?

They also seem to be enjoying the transfers out of PHL & CLT.

Gee, that never would have happened with NO voters running the show.

You should thank us.

CC needs to go.

GO SU!

MM!

What do you want? A cookie? A big fluffy blue hair bow, tied up southern style and a foot bath circa the times of Jesus?

Your posts seem to only repeat rhetoric and vitriol that is never ending. Perhaps we should disuss the fact that Republic Holdings just won a nice way into AA. Couple that with the min fleet language that we are losing and we have much bigger issues than one person's loathing of a current LECP.

Not sure who you advocate for the CLT LECP position but one candidate was complaining to the company yesterday about perfectly legal and ethical campaigning. The emails and other words posted and "forgotten about" have more than sealed her fate with many of the members who were hurt and disguted by what they saw.

Don't forget that there was a signing bonus and buyouts offered on deal number 3; not one, not two, but hey, if you want some congratulations and thanks, maybe someone could erect a shrine for you out in the desert somewhere.

Educate yourself the min fleet will NOT effect us. Please stop spreading this. Your lec pres. will now be outvoteded in most cases under one mec. THANK GOD!!!!!

CC will never hold office again after the upcoming election. People aren't going to forget all of the idiotic politicking that went on. AFA had better realize the membership majority is watching and can understand what is going on behind the scenes. I hope APFA isn't as F@#$#d up as AFA. No love lost for AFA, sorry to say.

Thanks for holding out for the signing bonus.

Just don't add up what you've lost monetarily since TA 1, the giveback of the 1/3.25, the giveback of 5+15 min, and the giveback of the training pay, to name a few. All of those things are simply unheard of in flight attendant contracts. No other flight attendant group in the free universe enjoys such protections/ rules. Bringing those rules to AA would've put us way ahead in joint (AA/US) negotiations. It'll take a long time to get back to anywhere near the 1/3 we had in the early 90's. We were so much closer.

But yes, thanks for the $1700 [before taxes] and paying senior people to leave.

The pilots have block hour protections to protect the East, West, and AA pilots. (USAPA MOU, 8.e), as well as protections on wide body flying.

As far as Republic, you'll have to take that up with APA. They were just following the lead of every other pilot group since the mid 90's, and the reason why we have 15 year reserves. Kudos to APA/ APFA for trying to maintain respect within the industry for as long as they did. All the more reason why the US Airways flight attendants needed to bring a stronger contract to the table than the AA LBFO (and we did, in every single section, except compensation, which is comparable). 20% still didn't see the inherent danger in having the west group remain cheaper to furlough, in what is arguably the most vulnerable domicile, but it is what it is.

Moving forward...

On a sad note. As you point out the protections to wide body flying. The same MOU also allows the farming out of 75% of domestic narrow body flying. This includes close to 70 aircraft with more than 76 seats that will be grandfathered. I understand there are block hour protections but this is still a sad state of affairs. This is flying once done by mainline. We are not talking 37 seat Dash-8 PHL to MDT. We are talking PHL to HOU in an 88 seat jet not owned or flown by US Airways. So much for "commuter" express flying! At least the Dash-8 is owned by US. Too bad Piedmont is being dismantled one plane at a time.

There are not just protections for wide body flying; there are actual block hour protections for ALL mainline flying, broken down for West US, East US, and AA current mainline flying.

I agree, the outsourcing of regional flying is a sad state of affairs. Unfortunately, the time for an uprising on this subject was in the mid 90's when Delta started the downward spiral on airline careers by ordering boatloads of CRJ's- the new future of 'express' flying.

Point of the post is that the pilots *do* have protections for flying as the merger progresses.
