Us Airways Fear February Liquidation

The statement, "You are right. I appologize.", would have worked just fine.

I am saying no such thing and you know it.

The U employees have been getting screwed with a steady stream of crap no one should endure. THAT was NOT the point.

It's life pal! You know where absolutely nothing goes as you "want" it to.

You can sing any kind song and dance and quote all kinds of this and that, it's moot. You know it I know it and anyone of sound mind knows it too.

U is “probablyâ€￾ going to become history and fast, NO ONE knows.

But people should be able to make up their own individual minds on what to do, how to act without the interference from union talking heads on here trying to explain life to you and how you should listen to them and them only and if you don't you are up for the Darwin Award you are so stupid.

This is very serious stuff which every U employee is facing and it should be left to each and every individual to do as they see fit minus all the noise generated by people who think they know how to run your life but can’t run their own. Such thinking is known as socialism.

Just a stupid question here...how can you quote pay for a 6 yr. Jet Blue F/A when the airline has only been in existence about 4 years?

P.S. I will be on that last flight PIT-PHL........

My best to you all....

Not such a dumb question...

When a contract is decided upon it will include payrates for employees up to the max rate. For many airlines, the hourly payrates increase with each year of service up to the 12th year. After 12 years of service the rate remains the same.

So even though Jet Blue may not have employees that have been there for more than four years, they still have the rates of pay established by contract for years of service beyond the current employee reality. (Since the contract will be in force while employees continue to gain "years of service" the contract has to include pay rates to cover future years.)
