Is there anybody else that thinks that the divorce between ACA and UA is a good thing for US??
The ACA service at IAD has the only United service to the following cities:
CHO, SCE, and BGM.
The following cities have service to ORD but three or fewer daily RJ flights:
ROA and GSP.
Several cities have four RJ ORD flights including ABE, MDT, CAE, CHS, and TYS.
If UA really loses ACA, there is going to probably be a service gap where north/south passengers will not be able to United flights to these destinations without significant inconvenience (i.e., SYR-IAD-CAE).
