itll be quite interesting to see what happens come July at DAL  whether or NOT DL remains at DAL
we heard that months and months ago.

and DL is still at DAL.

let us know when that changes, DL is kicked out, and DL rolls over and accepts it.

the AA fankid club can't stand that DL is succeeding at DAL when AA couldn't... just like a number of other strategies that AA/US has screwed up only to help DL.

best thing you have posted in a dozen years.

I can assure you that post is a foretaste of what is in store, the board will be all yours.

Are you unhinged?

Here is one of many exhibits that prove that you are:
"DL's strategy with VS has already generated far more revenue for DL than any other airline partnership has for any other airline in the same period of time."

Just ignore him already. It's just not worth the time to respond to the empty threats.

its called the Wright Amendment
Educate yourself.

BTW:  I love the spin this tool puts on things.  First it was DL will sue the heck out of WN, DAL, city of Dallas, etc.  Now It is DL will lead a coalition of airlines to court - but only when and if it wants to.  Hilarious!

Wrong as usual.
There is nothing illegal about the Wright Amendment.

So now you're a legal expert.
Then answer 1 little question:  why hasn't DL sued yet?

Some people that have a certain narrative would still call that winning.

As soon as DLs sublease is not extended, DL will be out of DAL and there is nothing DL could do about it.
That's the Whole Truth.
Agree on all points. I have tried and tried to explain and he just cannot comprehend. Amazing, huh???

Translation:  There is no evidence anywhere that will show that what I have written is correct.  I fabricated a lie.  I am a fraud and a liar.  People are onto me.  I therefore need to change the subject to anything else so that attention is diverted and that my foolishness doesn't stand out like a sore thumb.  How can I try to disparage some carrier and at the same time try to pass off my DL is the best narrative.

Great Post!
Actually, FANTASTIC POST!!!  And exactly correct...

FF2.0, Pls by all means continue. And not to change your chain of thoughts (as they are great) but here's an article STILL questioning rather Delta will remain at DAL Love Field after July 6th 2015. And just to make a point SWA will never kick Delta out of DAL, they don't have the power to do so, period. He does not understand how the W/A agreement works at DAL.  Take note of the last 2 or 3 paragraphs...

Southwest gains more Dallas gates; Delta to get booted?

You just gotta LUV this stuff man...

given that you and others have long been saying that DL would be kicked from DAL and DL is still there, then you and they clearly are BOTH wrong.

you can't seem to grasp in your zeal to dominate DAL that DL was very serious and very right in its determination to fight to stay at DAL. as much as you think otherwise, WN is run by smarter people than you who realize there is no legal defense for WN to argue that it should EVER be allowed to operate 90% of the flights and 95% of the seats at ANY airport, esp. one which WN's operation is nearly as large as DL's at LGA or AA's at DCA.

when DL is out of DAL and they aren't fighting any longer, then you can say you were right.

the rest of the sideshow here is nothing but a bunch of people who, like you, can't admit that I am more right about things on this board than you would like to admit.

If I weren't right, then you wouldn't become so unhinged about what I write.

Well as you know, any carrier that is #3 in any market just cannot survive.  So DL has to do everything it can to not just survive in N. TX but probably the south-west of the U.S.A.
I think WT grasps this fact and he is consumed with fear fear fear, so writing all these wonderful works of fiction on here is once mechanism that helps him cope.

no one ever said that the #3 or lower carrier in a market can't survive.

based on years of data for the airline industry, the #1 and #2 largest carriers in markets usually get a revenue advantage.

What makes DL's position in N. Texas unique is that DL gets an average fare advantage in the market in which it does serve from N. Texas - in line with what DL gets on the rest of its system.

it is precisely because other carriers realize DL's success in attracting the highest value customers that they not only want the fares that DLs customers pay but they want DL out of the market.

you can make all of the tired accusations you want about me, but the fact is that DL is succeeding as a relatively small player (about 9.5% of the local DFW market).

no one would have a thing to say if AA did the same thing in Asia.

the reason why AA's performance in Asia is a continued focus of discussions on this board is because AA significantly underperforms its peers in DL or UA competitive markets (thus pretty much all of AA's Asian system outside of DFW) even while continuing to add more service.

Do you really want to go there?

It's hasn't even been a day since you got caught lying, yet even before sunrise you've posted another lie.

yes, I actually do want to go there because it involves facts.

what market do you want to talk about? we have already been over DFW.

Your continued charges of lying only show that you cannot and will not focus on the facts of the discussion and instead want to throw mud as if that will change the facts.

the facts don't move.

Grow up and learn to participate in a discussion based on facts. If you don't like them, don't tell the other party they have the problem.

if you'd like to keep this charade up, I'm going nowhere.

The thread topic has long since been answered. There is no information that DL's service to DAL will be affected, they are selling flights out as far as their res system allows, and they specifically stated that the transfer of gates from WN to UA changes nothing regarding DL's service to DAL.

when you have concrete information that something has changed, let us know.

otherwise, all you are doing is engaging in a losing chest thumping proposition
