Informer, you seem to be having an avatar identity crisis. Can't decide who you want to focus your anger at?

No I am quite comfortable with change.

I know my enemy. Industrial Unionism

And the belief that an avatar is one's identity, demonstrates your problem.

For all the amfa supporters on this thread that say the RLA court rulings were dealing with mergers in C11, Well, DA!

There is a very strong possibilty of an AA-US AIR merger while AA is in C11.

Big difference compared to the lie that the Teamsters are pushing. If the Teamsters now want to change their position on the subject, than a written apology to the members of this union would be in order for their lie that easily influenced the contract vote.

Sure thing...Let me dig into westlaw and get back to you.

Try this page too. There are several links that have helped me in the past (but I have not looked for this answer here).

In all honesty, I hope you do prove me wrong. This board is beginning to suck me in again.

What?? Are you saying you already found the answer??

Show me the proof of lie? Otherwise, get back to work B)

So now you are organizing on the basis of probabalilties instead of fact?
Is the Teamsters story changing as the wind blows?

Let em ask you a question. Which one of you or what is the name of one person that would run for local President or any other Office if the Teamsters were to be certified?

The IBT claimed they could do this at UA,

How come the IBT couldnt force UA to open the CBA until the amendable date?

The pro-ibters must think the whole world will believe their bs.

And how come none of you pro-ibters wont answer this?

HP Mechanic and Related were IBT before the US merger, the IBT appointed a UPS package delivery man to represent them and negotiate their CBA, which was a bottom feeder agreement.

How qualified is a UPS package deliver driver to negotiate for Aircraft mechanics?

Your fingers were moving, anomaly.

In your case, that is indisputable proof of a lie. ( or lies )

I rather doubt that you have actually worked in a long time.
( your tongue and fingers don't count!)

I'm helping with the IBT card drive because I LIKE THE TEAMSTERS whether or not there is a merger with US AIR.
All I did was state the obvious concerning a possible merger.
It's sure is funny that amfa supporters want to spend all their time on this forum bashing the IBT instead of selling amfa.If all of you had spent more of your time collecting cards instead of bashing the IBT you might ALREADY have enough cards for an election.

The IBT card drive is going very well through the whole AA system except ORD.We can easily overcome ORD with the numbers at TULE.

Your union stupidly decided to walk out on their own

We were the union. Nobody forced any of us to walk. We decided that our services were worth more than NWA was offering, period.

Seriously dude, your unions stupidity HURT the rest of us. It gave the companies a playbook to complete against us in the future. Thanks to the ill fated strike at NWA, all airline corporations know exactly how to treat striking mechanics.

Thanks to you, the airlines will never have to worry about that as long as you have the TWU. The company simply lays out the concession track and the TWU train rolls.

the employee groups knew this and were trying to fight them together.

Really? I watched IAM members do my job the morning after I went on strike. They actually volunteered to get trained to do my job months before the strike. The IAMAW "leadership" knew this and condoned it. You are no better. Your last raise was because of the bar we set with our first contract at NWA. You and your ilk have summarily given everything back and more with your capitulation.

You are pathetic. I am so glad that I have moved on from the shell of a once great profession that you have again lowered down a notch.

That explains it then, you walked away from your job, and now you are scorned. I am still with UA and have not given up even after more than 27 years. It sucks at times, but I came in to this business without any perceived expectations. Unlike you, quitting is not what I do. Even if it does suck at times. Trust me, Steven Wolf really made work suck.

Like it your not, your little stunt hurt the rest of us who stayed. I am happy you left our industry, unfortunately, you did not stay away.

So striking is called quitting. That explains a great deal about you.

Members who went on strike are called honorable. People like you who call us quitters are the ones who cross picket lines.

We call you scab.

When a group prepares for a strike and does so with good intentions it is honorable. You guys followed an over hyped real estate agent out the door to your doom and destroyed many good jobs along the way.

Again, it was not what you did....but how you did it. No preparation, No planning, No funds, No support!

Not much honor in that.
