No, that's not how it works at all. But if it makes you feel better, go with it.

If you're still that ate up about the idea, you can become a dues objector. I believe the window is open once a year, but may be off on that.  P. Rez can help you with that.

Yeah, of course, it doesn't work that way....

"The Manhattan DA’s Office has opened a far-ranging probe into the Transport Workers Union Local 100’s new boss over whether he misused part of its $400,000 pot of political money, The Post has learned."

Wow would you look at that. An article from almost 6 years ago. Funny how the guy is still Local 100 President, re won his next election in a landslide and is currently First VP of the entire TWU.

How the hell is he doing all of this from a jail cell is anyone's guess?

You missed the point, as usual... Kev says political contributions don't happen and yet, there is a "$400,000 pot of political money" irrespective of the allegations.

This isn't the first time you missed the point when you falsely accused me of wanting shop stewards to violate matters of privacy, even though I told PRez prior to your post that his solution was a non-starter for that reason... are you being intellectually dishonest or just simply obtuse?

nothing good at all, of course as you know we have some pretty questionable ones on the IAM side that keep getting elected

What has the democratic party in the last 20 years done for labor unions. Hillary is and has always been a paid for hire politician.
I'm voting for Trump.

Think of about how you asked the question, , if you would have asked
"What has the Dem's done for union members" ? The answer would be zilch!
But you asked "what has the Dem's done for unions"? That answer is plenty!
See what happens when members battle their unions and a government agency
Is involved, Like maybe a card drive to oust their union?

Jester, the window to become a dues objector is in the month of Nov. You get the political portion back and right now its around $20 a month. You loose voting privilages but who cares..the company and the union just do their thing anyway to get what they want passed.

Another Trump vote here! When the Dem party and the Repub party hate the guy soo much you know you have the right guy!! No candidate in history is going to face the amount of negaticve backlash from the media and hollywood as him.

What does that say about Political operatives who went after the man obviously because he is very effective at what he does and they wanted to take him out?

FAIL.

Oh so now you're an expert on a man who is a Union power player in NYC who has nothing to do with the Union you're a member of?

You're really showing your true colors as of late Rat.
