I would like to know what people think about the former TWA guys getting all of their seniority back. I don't even know if it is possible but I wonder what others think about this. Please respond and give your reasons why you think the way you do. I for one think they should have their seniority simply because AA shut MCI down after promising them it would stay open. What do you think?

The former TWA employees wont get their seniority back, how many times is the horse going to be beaten?

They should get their seniority back. It was a crime to staple them to the bottom. Never say never, it has happened before.

The only group that was stapled was the flight attendants, the IAM spent $5 million on trying to get their seniority, all the other work groups went to arbitration, I dont agree with it, but they wont get their time back, its been to court also.

And why wasnt their an outcry about what Piedmont did to the Empire pilots? US Air Pilots didnt give them their time back either.

I stand corrected 700. I thought Empire got their seniority with the US/PI merger, but on researching found out they did not.

Maybe I should clearify things........ I am just asking opinions on this. I am not trying to imply that it is even possible for them to get it back. I just want to see what people think about this. Not trying to beat a dead horse or anything else. Just want to know what everyone is thinking.

So,all those years TWA personell paid dues to the IAM don't mean anything? I got news for you the horse is still in the race. The lawsuits are just getting started.

The merger hasn't even closed yet, and already someone wants to discuss casting aside yet another arbitration award?...

Kasher and Nicolau were both decided by an arbitrator. Regardless if you agree with the outcomes, it's time to honor the process, and move on.

Lawsuits have all ready been filed, lost and or dismissed, statue of limitations is long gone.

Is it not possible that in the negotiations regarding USAir/AA seniority integration that both the TWA and American Eagle employees at AA actually obtain some kind of modification to the current seniority issue? I mean would it be fair to give the USAir employees a better integration than those other groups? And don't forget the America West employees also. Maybe some agreement that modifies every employee into the same integration would be better than different treatment for different groups. I say come up with an agreement fair to everyone, and let's bury the hatchets that cause hate and discontent and move on with fighting the real enemies in the industry together instead of fighting one another. Right now we have AirCal employees with full seniority, American Eagle employees with modified seniority, and TWA employees with another set of modifications. How about we all get together on the same page for a change?

Its just a fear tactic. Most of the TWA guys accept it for what it is, others are simply stirring the pot. What I would favor is make it the same across the system, 25% like it is in NY.

At this point in time, I feel that would, I want to use the word "fair", but that whole kasher ruling was so screwed up, that there was nothing about it that was "fair"! -------- Yes, at this point in time 25% accross the system would be as close to "fair" as one could get, ------ and, I feel would go a long way to help heal some old wounds!!!

At US all groups got doh/doc except the pilots, that is what happened with the HP/US merger.

Since AA is the Bankrupt Airline, would it be fair to say that If US gives AA employees 25% seniority it would all even out?

I would think that Kasher stands w/r/t any integration coming up.

Unless...

The only way I can see ex TW employees' dates changing is if integration is by straight DOH, *and* classification/occupational seniority is done away with, and everyone/everything goes to straight DOH.
